nautilus_scripts Le gestionnaire de fichiers Nautilus permet d'exécuter des scripts, sous la forme de fichiers textes. Les scripts sont des "petits" programmes permettant une multitude de fonctionnalités. Les scripts suivants et d'autres trouvés sur le Web peuvent être copiés dans le répertoire de scripts de Nautilus. Quelques explications Le répertoire de Scripts de Nautilus est ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts pour les version d'Ubuntu antérieures à 13.04 À partir d'Ubuntu 13.04, le répertoire de Scripts de Nautilus est /home/$USER/.local/share/nautilus/scripts/ (Source: Question concernant les scripts Nautilus dans raring). Placez-y vos scripts et rendez-les exécutables (permissions) en faisant un clic droit sur le script en question → Propriétés → onglet Permissions → et cocher la case Exécution (ou dans un terminal chmod +x {nom du script}). If you want to open .eps or .ps files with GIMP on Windows you will need to install Ghostscript (download it from After successful installation you will need to create an environment variable called GS_PROG on Windows. To do this just follow these steps: Right-click on the ‘My Computer‘ Icon and select propertiesClick on the advanced tabClick on Environment Variable buttonUnder either User variables or System variables click on “New” Set Variable name : GS_PROGSet Variable path: C:\Progam Files\gs\gs864w32\bin\gswin32.exe – this is where yous gswin32.exe resides, make sure you type the correct path. Richard Stallman et la révolution du logiciel libre Richard Stallman et la révolution du logiciel libre Cette semaine, à l'occasion de la sortie du bouquin : "Richard Stallman et la révolution du logiciel libre", le grand Richard Stallman était à Paris pour faire une petite conférence. Le livre, aux éditions Eyrolles, est à la base une biographie écrite par Sam Williams, à laquelle Richard Stallman et Christophe Masutti (de chez Framasoft) ont largement contribué. Le livre a l'air vraiment intéressant et j'ai hâte de le lire (il sort le 21 janvier). Là où Eyrolles me fait halluciner, c'est qu'ils ont carrement mis le livre sous licence GNU FDL dès sa sortie : Cette version intitulée /Richard Stallman et la révolution du logiciel libre - Une biographie autorisée/ est publiée sous la licence GNU Free Documentation Licence. GPlot Gimp-tutorials.net - Gimp , tutorials , brushes , downloads, forum. Les applications Windows sous Ubuntu c’est pour bientôt ? Les applications Windows sous Ubuntu c’est pour bientôt ? Canonical, qui distribue Ubuntu a mis en ligne un petit sondage sur leurs forums pour demander à ses utilisateurs quelles sont les applications qu'ils aimeraient avoir sous leur distrib préférée. Et Ô suprise, dans ce sondage, on trouve principalement des applications Windows... Du coup, je me suis demandé pourquoi ? Oui POURQUOI ??? Surement parce que ce sont ces applications là qui sont le plus demandées par les utilisateurs d'Ubuntu et qu'elles servent de base initiale à ce sondage. Ce ne sont bien sûr que des suppositions mais ça me semble être une évolution saine pour Linux (oui je sais, ça va faire hurler les puristes libristes :-) ). Tutorial (link): Wall Street Journal look, Engraved images, Flaming Pear India Ink Quote: Impressionist has a couple presets that might get one going in the drawing direction, but none that would ever come close to true hand-drawn/sketched and shaded artwork. In the example attached, the far right effect was rendered with Impressionist, with a little eye and mouth detail restored with a layer mask. For one with digital artwork skills far beyond mine, Impressionist might be useful in creating an underpainting or roughed out beginning, if you will, with fine detail added after the fact by the artist. The middle interpretation was rendered using the Andromeda Etchtone plugin. For reference the attachment examples were created in about 15 minutes of experimenting. ~Danny~
