Dr. Chris Mullen, The Visual Telling of Stories, illustration, design, film, narrative sequences, magazines, books, prints etc This site records a range of material dedicated to the study of the Visual Narrative. The original site, intended by me for part-time students and other interested parties was closed down by the University of Brighton in 2004. I was subsequently denied access to the original images most of which, however, were in my own collection. I have developed the site on a daily basis thereafter. It remains exclusively educational and is in constant use. Many thanks to those in the UK and beyond who shared my irritation at events.

about My full name is Tina Roth Eisenberg. I started swissmiss in March of 2005 as my personal visual archive. Little did I know that it would eventually grow into a popular design journal with an average of 1 million unique visitors a month. Non-adhesive Book « Playful Bookbinding and Paper Works This is the second year I have done this journal project with fifth graders in Saratoga Springs. I wrote about it last year, but in less detail than I plan to write about it today. This workshop day was requested by the school’s reading specialist, who had done a similar project on her own with a few students. She was impressed by the students’ reaction to their journals, and thus requested that I come for a day and make these books with the whole grade level, about 70 students.
