Après cette victoire, les membres du groupe changent son nom et décident de l'appeler Muse. En 1995, ils enregistrent leurs premières démos au domicile du bassiste, Christopher Wolstenholme. Au cours d'une série de concerts à Londres et à Manchester, alors qu'ils tentent de se faire connaître, les membres du groupe font la connaissance de Dennis Smith, le propriétaire de la maison de disques Sawmills. En 1998, Dennis Smith crée la maison de disques Taste Media spécialement pour Muse, qui éveille rapidement l'intérêt d'autres maisons de disques. Ils signent ensuite avec Maverick Records aux États-Unis, ce qui leur permet de faire des concerts aux États-Unis. Lors d'un long voyage, c'est Bellamy qui écrit les chansons les plus populaires de l'album (Sunburn, Muscle Museum, Cave…). Muse au festival de Leeds en 2006

Calvin & Hobbes Search Engine - by Bing I have always been a big fan of Calvin & Hobbes comics, and their author, Bill Watterson. Since discovering the complete script online, as well as a collection of every daily strip on another website, I knew I could make the two reference each other and therefore create a "Calvin & Hobbes Search Engine" for lack of a better name. So I set out to do it. Currently the search only looks for EXACT phrases (not case sensitive), so if you're looking for a comic with the words "balloon" and "airplane" you cannot enter them both, or it will search for "balloon airplane" together.
