Zombie Shopping Mall Experience Zombie Shopping Mall Prepare yourself for the three most horrifying words in the English language: Reading shopping centre. Bone chilling stuff, I think you’ll agree. We've prepared a bespoke, abandoned shopping centre in Reading, sprinkled to the gills with maniacal ZOMBIES lusting for your tender brains. We know you want to combat them until they cannot be combated anymore. And now you have the chance. "It's the most fun you can have with an [airsoft] gun." What happens on the day? In this spectacular ‘full immersion’ experience, you’ll be briefed and armed by the Police Special Zombie Bashing Unit. Then you’ll hit the spooky, deserted shopping mall, but you won’t be shopping for that lovely little Pashmina you saw in Littlewoods. "A bloody great day out." It’s like your favourite Zombie movie come to life! If, like me, you hate things that shuffle (old people, zombies, card sharks) then don’t miss out on this incredible full immersion zombie battering experience at The Mall, Reading.

Imp Head Color 3 I'm sure you've all had a pet that died. It's just part of the growing up experience that seems to be prevalent throughout society. This image was created with that very concept in mind. Or that's what I had intended... You see, here is another fine example of why I try to let the viewer have the reigns when it comes to interpreting the message of the piece. In the end I guess they're all right and each interpretation is as valid to the person making it as mine is to me.

Top 10 Things To Do In The City Of London The Bank of England. Our tour of the London boroughs reaches the borough that’s not really a borough: the City of London. Finding things to do in an area which is largely closed for the two leisure days of the week proved to be something of a challenge. Fortunately, we love a challenge, especially when it involves sampling pubs. Here’s our top ten things to do in the City of London, which incidentally also contains some of the most amusing street names. 1. As well as a decent selection of real ales, the Hoop also has some history; it’s the oldest continuously licenced drinking establishment in the City. 2. Every other Thursday, the farmer’s market can be found tucked away in Broadgate with the UBS building looming over it. There’s also an excellent daily market at nearby Whitecross Street but as that falls into the Borough of Islington we decided to just mention it in passing. 3. Looking for somewhere peaceful to eat your lunch? 4. Pilpel, how many ways do we love thee? 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.

Watch James Franco and Seth Rogen’s Hilarious Parody of Kanye West’s Music Video For 'Bound 2' In a candid interview, the Oscar winner sat down with The Daily Beast to discuss her hit Broadway play, the thrill of working with Philip Seymour Hoffman, and the changing face of New York. Marisa Tomei is just as sweet and complaisant as you’d imagine. Her smile is, in person, just as infectious as it is onscreen; a trait that’s helped make her one of those unique actors who inspires tremendous goodwill in audiences. “Bar Pitti is a classic,” she says. It’s hard to describe Tomei’s aura without coming off like a toadying hack, but she really does look about two decades younger than her age, 49. The actress is here with me to discuss her excellent new Broadway play, The Realistic Joneses—playwright Will Eno’s singular meditation on the absurdity of mortality; like Sartre by way of David Brent. After perusing the menu, Tomei reaches her verdict: “I’ll do the Cacio e Pepe… and could I get a side of scrambled eggs with that? Right. I know. As a Brooklyn gal, are you a Girls fan? Huge. Yes.

The Heygate Estate Local resident Zefrog takes a wander round the near abandoned Heygate Estate. The Heygate Estate, a modern Secret Garden? The bad reputation of the Heygate Estate, at the heart of the regeneration area of the Elephant and Castle, is partly what brought it to the sorry state it currently is in, waiting for the wrecking balls to strike. As a neighbour with a direct view on Claydon, one of the big building blocks that surround the estate and cut it off from the rest of the area, I was curious to go and visit the fabled land of feral gangs and rampant gun crime (as the estate appears in the backdrop to many a film and TV series). As expected, this collection of over 1200 homes built in the 1970s is mostly deserted, if one excepts the lone driving-school car circling the empty streets. Everywhere, of course, are the signs of abandon. It is however clearly too late now and the sooner the warmth of new homes is kindled, the better. Pictures by zefrog.
