Image Noise Reduction Image Editing Tutorial You might have noticed that under certain conditions, the image acquired with your DSLR has far too much information, thus creating noise and digital artifacts that mar your photo. This is particularly an issue when you're shooting at night and/or with a high ISO in other low-light conditions... it's the downside of attempting to capture an image when the exposure latitude (the difference between the lightest and darkest section) is wide. So Photoshop has the ability, when properly applied, to eliminate a tremendous amount of that noise. 30 Amazing Stanley Kubrick Cinemagraphs The Lobby is a multiverse of random things we found on the interwebs, along with the occasional 3AM drunken rants by our founders and their minions. These posts are curated by our highly trained group of crazy, up-jumped, Scarlett Johansson-obsessed, hard-drinking monkeys on a vision quest in a sacred North Dakota sweat lodge at the invitation of our great native elder, Chief Running Nose. The Lobby is currently the world’s largest repository of dead YouTube links and contains quite possibly the best tasting nacho cheese dip in existence. Artistic Printing Inspiration in Illustrator and Photoshop This morning I was tidying up my apartment then I decided to organize my books, I didn't bring many books to San Francisco, only the ones I really like, and among them there is The Handy Book of Artistic Printing: Collection of Letterpress Examples with Specimens of Type, Ornament, Corner Fills, Borders, Twisters, Wrinklers, and other Freaks of Fancy . I love this book because it's full of letterpress examples, like type, ornaments, corner fills borders and much more. So after a few minutes checking the book out I decided to design something using Illustrator and Photoshop inspired by some of the artworks I saw. So in this tutorial I will show you how to create an vintage style letter press effect using Illustrator and Photoshop. Step 1 Open Illustrator and create a new document, the size is not important we will just create the basic shapes and then in Photoshop we will apply the effects to give it the nice letter press style. Step 2 Select both objects and go to Object>Path>Offset Path.
