ALEC – American Legislative Exchange Council More than 40 years ago, a small group of state legislators and conservative policy advocates met in Chicago to implement a vision: A nonpartisan membership association for conservative state lawmakers who shared a common belief in limited government, free markets, federalism, and individual liberty. Their vision and initiative resulted in the creation of a voluntary membership association for people who believed that government closest to the people was fundamentally more effective, more just, and a better guarantor of freedom than the distant, bloated federal government in Washington, D.C.

The Stanford Center for the Study of Poverty and Inequality - SCSPI The Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality (CPI), one of three National Poverty Centers, is a nonpartisan research center dedicated to monitoring trends in poverty and inequality, explaining what's driving those trends, and developing science-based policy on poverty and inequality. CPI supports research by new and established scholars, trains the next generation of scholars and policy analysts, and disseminates the very best research on poverty and inequality. Global Diversity and Phylogeny of the Asteroidea (Echinodermata) Discussion Fossil History Recent views on the most likely Paleozoic source for post-Paleozoic asteroids differ significantly [4], [5], [6], [111], but authors agree that the Paleozoic-Mesozoic transition marked a time of major extinction and re-diversification, thereby allowing separation in this paper based on time. Although the paper focuses on the Asteroidea, it is necessary to touch briefly on the origins and diversification of all early stellate echinoderms. Subdivisions of Paleozoic stellate echinoderms

Animalia: INFORMATION All animals are members of the Kingdom Animalia, also called Metazoa. This Kingdom does not contain prokaryotes (Kingdom Monera, includes bacteria, blue-green algae) or protists (Kingdom Protista, includes unicellular eukaryotic organisms). All members of Animalia are multicellular, and all are heterotrophs (that is, they rely directly or indirectly on other organisms for their nourishment). Most ingest food and digest it in an internal cavity. Animal cells lack the rigid cell walls that characterize plant cells. Hydroponic Technology Using Microbes 1. Name of Product Green Water (Green Water, Japanese Patent No. 4019330) This is a system providing the followings. (i) Aeration apparatuses that are added to conventional hydroponic apparatuses which make circulation of nutrient solution, (ii) apparatuses preventing microbes from extraordinarily propagating, (iii) hydroponic culture using microbes comprising of given microbial materials. 2. Purpose With hydroponic apparatuses which make circulation of nutrient solution, our technology prevents blight, enhances the taste, increases the yield, and improves the adaptability for the environment.
