Amid all of the technologies, ideas, and resources currently available to teachers, we would like to live “A Year Without Worksheets.” Nationwide, public districts and private administrations purchase "programs" to form the foundation of their math, reading, and language curricula. Worksheets are not inherently poor teaching tools. These perceived "benefits," however, actually constitute the negative influences of worksheets in the classroom. Substandard worksheets ask nothing of the educator. The basic philosophy of factory worksheets suggests that a consistent curriculum is important for educational quality, because teachers can't be trusted to devise lessons. Realistically, we're not giving up on worksheets. What we’re hoping for, really, is moderation in worksheets. For these reasons and more, we are proposing a year without worksheets.

He uses Springpad for his computer science class to eliminate notebooks and text books and to demonstrate the benefits of the very material they are studying. Here’s what each student in his class does in Springpad: Register for a personal Springpad accountCreate a notebook for the subject “Computing & ICT”Share the notebook with the teacherCreate a Note in springpad for each lesson or upload the work they’ve done as an attachment to a new note. Para estos fines, EDpuzzle es un recurso para profesores que ofrece crear lecciones de vídeo propias pero utilizando vídeos ya disponibles en Internet. Los vídeos objetivo podrán ser escogidos en YouTube, Khan Academy, EDpuzzle y otros recursos disponibles en la red. El funcionamiento será más sencillo imposible, ya que tras elegir el vídeo que queremos personalizar sólamente tendremos que especificar la URL, recortar la parte que nos interese y cambiar el audio por nuestra propia voz para explicar lo que creamos más oportuno, pudiendo cambiar así el idioma y el nivel de la lección al gusto (y muchas otras más cosas, porque somos nosotros los que hablamos…).
