Make your own dry shampoo By now you’ve surely heard all the kerfuffle about dry shampoo. Every celebrity swears it’s what’s in their purse at all times. Just what is dry shampoo? It’s basically a product that takes the grease out of your hair on those days you missed the alarm and don’t have time to shower. The crazy thing about all this dry shampoo business, is just how easy it is to make at home, with a few ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. Seriously. Here are the ingredients to make your own dry shampoo: 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch 2 Tablespoons Baking Soda 2 Tablespoons Cornmeal 2 Tablespoons Ground Oatmeal A salt shaker type container to store dry shampoo Step 1: Grind up oatmeal in a blender. Step 2: Measure out 2 tablespoons each of: cornstarch, cornmeal, baking soda and the ground up oatmeal. Step 3: Pour your fancy new dry shampoo into a container. Step 4: Sprinkle some dry shampoo onto your hand. Step 5: Shampoo. Scrub your head like you would in the shower, all lathered up. Step 6: Now brush.

Section Off The waterfall braid works best on straight or loose waves. Braid As Usual Braid your strands regularly three times, beginning from the right strand. Drop the Strand This is where it gets tricky. Step and Repeat Repeat this process—French braid the left strand, drop the right strand, and pick up an adjacent new piece. Pin and Secure Once you've reached a comfortable point to stop your braid, secure it to your scalp with bobby pins. Fishtail It! My hair is pretty straight and fine naturally and I always let it air dry. Since I go about three days between washes, I like to curl it on the first day and let it mellow out into some nice waves over the next two. Let's get started! If your hair doesn't hold curl very well then you may want to put a palmful of curling mousse in it when it is halfway dry. (though I want to upgrade to one of the fancy new ones from Sultra soon!) When I'm done curling the bottom section, I mist it with Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode and comb through the curl with my fingers. Ahh!! If you want to dress it up a little, you can do a braided headband look! Find a spot on the opposite side of your head and pin it so that it blends in naturally with the rest of your hairstyle.
