Lace for Days Skirt You will need: 1.5 yards of fabric. Step 1: Lay your pencil skirt on your pattern fabric/paper to create the pencil skirt pattern for the main structure of the skirt. When it comes to personal-care products, we are big believers in streamlining what you use—see "Eight Products You Think You Need But Don't" for a refresher—buying less in general, and getting creative. We have both always loved experimenting in our kitchens and our bathrooms, checking ingredients in products we love, isolating the main ones, and then trying them on their own. Sometimes it works: A favorite hair leave-in contained aloe, for example, so one day we tried aloe alone and found that, lo and behold, it worked just fine on its own. And sometimes it didn't. Simple body scrub Many body scrubs, even the ones that claim to be sugar- or salt-based, actually contain beads made out of polyethylene, which is environmentally deplorable (it all goes down the drain, remember)—to say nothing of the preservatives, fragrance, penetration enhancers, and sulfates that typically bulk up these products. When the folks over at The Motherhood asked me if I would like to be a co-host for a virtual Cooking Connections class surrounding all things sweet, I jumped at the chance. An hour devoted to nothing other than desserts? You can join in the virtual chat based class as well, this Wednesday 1pm EST on The Motherhood. Kid Friendly Desserts & Desserts on the GoYour Favorite Desserts, Lightened UpDesserts Worth Indulging & Special Occasion Desserts In the meantime, I am doing my best to diligently research sweet treats prior to the Cooking Connections class. Apple Cider Vinegar + Green Tea - Acne.org Message Boards i just started using this home-made toner tonight; instead of adding the oils and chamomile tea, i just used 50:50 of apple cider vinegar:green tea. ehhh, i did not use organic apple cider vinegar though, so i am a little weary of that. i will probably purchase the organic acv tomorrow, but until then, i hope that what i have will do. hopefully, it will not worsen my acne; that would make me real sad! >.< haha. but, i really love how creative you got with the toner. it sounds like it would be amazing for the skin! :) but back to the organic apple cider vinegar: every website that i have checked out about acv states that you "must use organic apple cider vinegar that contains the "mother", because the non-organic brands contain chemicals that your body can absorb yaddayaddayadda..." okayokay, i am done rambling now, haha.:)
