Skhizein - short film by Jeremy Clapin Having been struck by a 150-ton meteorite, Henry has to adapt to living precisely ninety-one centimeters from himself. An animated short that runs for only 13 minutes, this tells the rather comical and yet sad story of a man affected by a meteorite in a most peculiar way. Once he has been struck he finds that his body is now constantly 91 centimetres from where it should be. To open a door, sit down, answer his telephone, etc, he has to perform all of the actions exactly 91 centimetres away from where he normally would, laws of physics having taken a long walk off a short pier. With a warm, wonderfully rendered style and a mixture of great detail and enjoyably abstract moments, this little piece of animation is, quite frankly, an absolute joy. Writer-director-animator Jérémy Clapin is someone I hope continues to produce great work and go on to even bigger and better things. BOLSILLITOS - Literatura para niños y jóvenes Internacional Microcuentista -: El microrrelato en el aula Se dice que el futuro del mundo está en los niños; en la Internacional Microcuentista estamos de acuerdo. Por lo mismo, dar a conocer el microrrelato en las aulas será la mejor manera de formar nuevos lectores y, a la postre, nuevos autores. Muestra de ello es el trabajo que viene realizando la maestra Luz Leira con un grupo de alumnos, de quienes nos presenta sus primeros, y muy bien logrados, trabajos. Luz Leira Rivas se licenció en Filología Hispánica y cursó estudios de Tercer Ciclo en Literatura Barroca y Didáctica de la Literatura. El microrrelato en el aula, por Luz Leira Cuando los amigos de la Internacional Microcuentista me pidieron que escribiera sobre nuestra experiencia en el aula trabajando el microrrelato, pensé de inmediato en la alegría de mis alumnos. Aunque no vive en su ciudad natal, tiene allí una casa quinta, a la que le hizo una reforma, planeada y dirigida por el propio Ricardo. ¿Esta era la casa de tu viejo? Sí. Un lugar que te saca del agobio de la ciudad. Mi vida en Buenos Aires es casi provinciana, no salgo a trabajar, no viajo en subte a la mañana, pero sí, tengo dos casas, un lugar y un sustituto, algo donde rajarme. Me alivia saber que estoy en Buenos Aires, pero me pasa muy seguido que de golpe, en el día, me vengo para acá. La venida acá empieza en el trayecto, me gusta muchísimo andar en el auto, escuchar música, parar en los barcitos de la ruta. Los viajes te refuerzan ese deseo. El hecho de tener viajes seguido también es un alivio, algo esperanzador. Me importa el lugar, e incluido en el lugar, el barrio, la gente, que los bares sean los mismos. “La famosa cocina del escritor”. ¿Te sentís desarraigado? ¿Qué querías ser de chico?
