How-To: The Cascade/Waterfall Braid The waterfall braid also known as the cascade braid recently exploded as the new "trend braid" of the season. The waterfall effect looks cool and complex, but it's easier to style than you think. Give this beautiful braid a try when Beautylish takes you through the how-to! Section Off The waterfall braid works best on straight or loose waves. Braid As Usual Braid your strands regularly three times, beginning from the right strand. Drop the Strand This is where it gets tricky. Step and Repeat Repeat this process—French braid the left strand, drop the right strand, and pick up an adjacent new piece. Pin and Secure Once you've reached a comfortable point to stop your braid, secure it to your scalp with bobby pins. Fishtail It! Braid the remaining piece of hair left from your cascade into a fishtail braid. Accessorize Add a cute bow or flower to hide your bobby pins and give this look some extra hair flair.
Review ONLINE Last Picnic Before the fall rains come, Let’s have one more picnic, Now that the leaves are turning color And the grass is still green in places. Bread, cheese and some black grapes Ought to be enough, And a bottle of red wine to toast the crows Puzzled to find us sitting here. If it gets cold—and it will—I’ll hold you close. Night will come early. We’ll watch the sky, hoping for a full moon To light our way home. And if there isn’t one, we’ll put all our trust In your book of matches And my sense of direction As we grope our way in the dark. Back to Issue 2 of HR Online
$5 Mobile Phone Projector The folks at Photojojo just posted a neat low-tech tutorial on how to make a projector for your mobile phone using a shoebox, a paperclip, and a magnifying glass. MacGyver would be proud. They were able to find the magnifying glass at a dollar store for, well, a dollar (so they called it the $1 projector), but let’s just call it $5 before people get up in arms because they can’t find that screaming deal. Basically, you start by cutting a hole out of one side of the shoebox to match your magnifying glass and taping the glass on the box. Then you make an iPhone holder from a paperclip, flip the screen display on your phone (to account for how images passed through a lens get flipped), position your phone inside the box (playing with placement until you get the clearest image), put the box top back on, turn the room lights down low and the brightness on your phone up high, and revel in your resourcefulness. LOTS OF PUNS ...A guy goes into a nice restaurant bar wearing a shirt open at the collar and is met by a bouncer who tells him he must wear a necktie to gain admission. So the guy goes out to his car and he looks around for a necktie and discovers that he just doesn't have one. He sees a set of jumper cables in his trunk. In desperation he ties these around his neck, manages to fashion a fairly acceptable looking knot and lets the ends dangle free. He goes back to the restaurant and the bouncer carefully looks him over for a few minutes and then says, "Well, OK, I guess you can come in -- just don't start anything." ...This mushroom walks into a bar and starts hitting on this woman... ...This horse walks into a bar and the bartender says "Hey, buddy, why the long face... ...These two strings walk upto a bar... ...This grasshopper walks into a bar, and the bartender says "Hey! ...This baby seal walks into a bar and the bartender says,"What'll ya have..." ...A neutron walks into a bar. How to Use New Auction Sites to Nab Must-Have Merchandise for up to 95% Off Retail Last Updated: 4/01/2014 15:47 PST Have you ever heard of "Penny Auctions?" They’re a new online auction model that is becoming hugely popular. Penny auctions allow individuals to do just what the name implies--buy new, popular products for just pennies on the dollar. One of the most interesting and successful companies offering penny auctions is called QuiBids. This Oklahoma based company auctions off brand new products such as iPads, Macbooks, HDTVs, Digital Cameras, Gaming Consoles, and more for steep discounts, often as much as 85 percent off their retail price. So, how do they do it? Savvy bidders have recently been able to buy a brand new Apple Macbook Pro for $23.90, a Nikon D90 Camera for $45.84, and Sony Playstation 3 for $12.32. The auctions are also insanely fun. But, the best part of QuiBids may be the “Buy-It-Now” feature. Some customers have really made out like bandits on the site. Click here to check out the great merchandise on the site and see how low it’s being sold for.
Home Design, Garden & Architecture Blog Magazine Love is happiness There are various kinds of love with even more definitions of each. One popular version might be described as the desire for two people to spend their lives together, with a continuing compassion for each other through good and bad times. Joseph Addison (1672-1719) puts it quite nicely this way: "Two persons who have chosen each other out of all the species with a design to be each other's mutual comfort and entertainment have, in that action, bound themselves to be good-humored, affable, discreet, forgiving, patient, and joyful, with respect to each other's frailties and perfections, to the end of their lives." Of course it isn't always easy because conflicts about ideas, choices and habits arise. Some of these conflicting situations are easy to overlook while others can be very annoying, upsetting, and continual. Some personal mannerisms of one may never suit those of the other, and compromise cannot always be reached. Has the other's point of view been considered earnestly?

keybr.com - Take typing lessons, test your typing speed and practice typing for free! Bubble Printing Fun!!! This weekend we were doing bubble activities galore: playing and printing with bubbles. Cassie enjoyed both. What inspired us to do this was when we were at friend's house and they had Crayola Colored Bubbles. When you play with these bubbles they actually are colors. This was cool, but I will warn you that these colors get all over clothes and pavement/patios. First you need some water, tempera paint, and dish soap. We mixed about a 1/2 cup of water, 2 Tablespoons of paint, and a few squirts of dish soap in each container. Then add a straw to each container and make sure you blow into the mixture. Once you have a huge bubble foam on the top of the container you are ready to lay a paper on top to print the bubbles. Here is our best bubble print.... we made lots and lots. I made the bubble prints into cards. Now back to blowing bubbles and trying to catch them. Have FUN Exploring Bubbles What is your favorite bubble activity?

"No matter who you are or where you've been, this place will enchant and amaze you." "Jaw-droppingly beautiful rooms" all have 15-foot ceilings, "unforgettable Piton Mountain views," and private infinity pools in different colored tiles (ruby, amber, plum). Chef Allen Susser's Jade Mountain Club mixes sweet and spicy flavors, but the emphasis is on "seafood that makes your taste buds sing."
