43 Bedrooms Where One Wall Features A Spectacular Wallpaper
There are many cool things in Scandinavian interiors to learn from. They are usually quite simple and strict but there are some exceptions. For example in Scandinavian bedrooms you often can see one wall covered with spectacular wallpaper while other walls are painted in one color. Usually this wall is right behind the bed.

Always in Wonder: Living Room Makeover, Part 1: Herringbone Wall Remember a couple of days ago when I posted the sneak peak picture, and told you that I went through 2 large rolls of Scotch Blue Painter’s Tape in one day? Well today I am going to show you the finished product. Our hard work totally paid off, and the wall looks so good. I saw this picture on Pinterest, and it was love at first sight. This wall was created by Laurie, and featured on Design Sponge. The first thing we did was paint all of our walls. After painting the wall gray we found the center of our wall, and began measuring, marking, and taping off our vertical lines. Next, on our vertical lines of tape we measured down every 10 inches. Once everything was taped off we painted every other row with Dutch Boy’s Refresh Ultra White. You can see how the gloss changed the sheen of the Modern Classic and adds a subtle dimension to the pattern. After brushing on the gloss we waited about 20 minutes before pulling off the tape from the wall. Linking up to:

A bit of green :: Crafts :: Plastic Cup Lamp Now that my university is closed for winter holidays, I finally have more free time to do all the crafty things I’ve been wanting to. One of these is a lamp made from plastic cups I’ve seen at taf, the art foundation, in the Monastiraki region in the center of Athens. When I first saw it at taf, I was amazed; I looked closely and I couldn’t believe my eyes! The object itself is so peculiar, modern and alien-like it could be in any design exhibition. With my best friend’s birthday coming up, I decided to make it myself and give it to her as a gift. Disclaimer: There have been some concerns about the safety of this construction (see the comment of user “when” below for example). I only needed a couple of things: 200-250 large plastic cups (recyclable, at least )600-700 staplesa staplera lamp socket, lamp cord and plug – mine came from a broken IKEA lamp! That’s all you will need. Start stapling the cups together as shown. Staple again and again and again… Until your lamp goes from this…

Man Decorates His Entire Basement Using a Sharpie and a Marker | Oddity... 53-year-old Says Kratzer managed to turn his boring cream-painted basement into an inhabitable masterpiece, by using his trusty sharpie and a magic marker. Mister Kratzer has always been fascinated by Impressionist art, and by the time he reached 30, he knew he wanted his house to be decorated with it. Since he couldn’t afford to buy all the art pieces he began creating them himself. He began painting, and now his works hang all over the house. So when he decided to redecorate the basement, it’s not very hard to guess what style he used as inspiration. A lawyer by day, Mr. Other wives might be furious at their husbands, after seeing their basements covered with all kinds of sharpie doodles, but here’s what Deb Kratzer had to say: “I have the coolest husband. via Kentucky.com Reddit Stumble
