Color had to be collected from pigments of the earth and then dyed into fabric. You had to collect the berries to make the purple-ish/reds or dirt to get a brown. There are a ton out there that design and print it all on computer, but the best ones are usually those who can paint them too, take this one by Urban Cake Lady for example. Prahran A great Urban Cake Lady paste up here in Fitzroy, this is a pretty unique piece as it blends a real image with her iconic Little Red Riding Hood character. Another great paste up from Urban Cake Lady here, it’s getting to the point where I wonder what she looks like underneath that coat. It’s a shame that this Urban Cake Lady has been half torn up, but them’s the street art breaks, once it’s up, it’s out. Haven’t seen Urban Cake Lady up for some time now too, so it was good to see some fresh work by her in the car park.
