This is exactly what this crazy video portrays, and being a classic games geek myself, if this sort of thing were to happen in real life, I'm not sure whether I'd run or marvel at the sight. It's all there — Pacman, Tetris, Arkanoid. Once-friendly, familiar characters wreak havoc on the buildings, streets and cars of New York. 50 Eye-Popping Examples of Concept Art One of the most unique and common forms of art on the Internet these days is called concept art. Concept art is a form of illustration where the main goal is to convey a visual representation of a design, idea, and/or mood for use in movies, video games, animation, or comic books before it is put into the final product. The concept artist generates a visual design for something that doesn’t yet exist. Most of these pieces are created with Photoshop as well as using more traditional means such as oil paints, pencils and others. The Lady and The Reaper An old lady is nearing the end of her days and she longs to be with the husband she has lost. So, when death pays her a visit on night in the form of a rather comical Grim Reaper then she touches his extended hand without fear. Only, she has not considered that a meddlling doctor on our side of the great divide will decide that she must be resuscitated . So ensues a terrific fight between the Reaper and the doctor, who fight fiercely over the mortal coil of the ancient dame. This wonderful 3D imaging short film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2009.

That’s all, because we have Pixar‘s Oscar-nominated shorty La Luna, and as usual – we want to share the fun with you! La Luna tells the story of a young boy who, one night, accompanies his father & grandfather to their unusual nighttime job. Should he follow the example of his Papa, or his Grandpa? My conclusion: director Casarosa definitely did a great job with this movie! And ok, maybe La Luna is not an intense or funny story, but please have in mind that there’s also no speaking in the film, or as he explained – instead, characters communicate through gibberish. That was obviously the biggest challenge for Casarosa and his team. There’s a real art to creating gibberish and it’s only after doing our homework and searching for voice actors who could really embody our characters that we finally found the right mix for our short. Real art, for sure!
