DIY Door Knocker Belt After discovering lion drawer pulls at the hardware store a few weeks ago, we were immediately reminded of this vintage Moschino jacket spotted on Jane of Sea of Shoes. They were obviously too amazing to pass up and we knew we had to incorporate the mini door knockers into a DIY. Luckily, we were able to track down the same lion head drawer pulls online so now you can join in on the fun! You’ll need: Start by placing the drawer pulls along the backside of the belt and place them to your liking. Push the screws through the holes and twist on the drawer pulls, tightening each one with a screwdriver. Your Moschino-inspired belt is finito! Roarrrrr! DIY Wrap Bracelet You should all know by now that we are all about stacking bracelets on our wrists. The more, the better. In fact . . . the most, the best! With that being said, we’ll show you how to master a version of the ever so popular wrap bracelet. You’ll need (for a double wrapped bracelet) :* Lengths will vary depending on the size of your wrist (see comments for suggestions). Fold the length of leather cording in half to form a loop. Place the ball chain along the leather cording with the end of the chain meeting the end of the wrap. Continue wrapping while checking it for fit around the wrist. When you have reached the end of the ball chain wrap the linen cording around the leather strands 2-3 more times. Thread the hex nut through the strands and tie a second knot. Trim with scissors and your wrap bracelet is finished!! The materials are listed for a double wrap bracelet. It’s a party! A Gallery of Assassins in Other Lands, Other Times | Assassin’s Creed is one of my current favorite game franchises, so much so that I forgive them for trying to make the same game about four different times before moving on. But when they finally do, speculation turns to what sort of Assassin might we see next. Where will he be from? In what time period will he function? There has been massive speculation as to the where and when, and a number of artists have tried to guess correctly. All these pictures are going to be featured in Asassin’s Creed: The Encylopedia, and they feature a whole host of Assassins from everywhere from the Orient to the Old West to the Middle East to space, as you can see above. A few of these I think we’ve featured, but the majority are brand new.
The Best of 1960s Spider-Man Meme The 60s Spider-Man meme has been around a few years now but it has really blown up on Tumblr the last few months in no small part due to the efforts of F-ck Yeah Spider Meme which has cataloged some of the more popular examples and Wallopin Websnappers which provided many of the screen shots people have used. Due to the poor animation of the show, Spider-Man and company were often in ridiculous poses fighting poorly drawn and conceived threats. While many of these comics focus solely on making fun of the low quality of the drawings, a larger number of them have developed Spider-Man as a stoner pedophile struggling with premature ejaculation. No, the problem I always seem to have is with the furniture where you have to pick up extra parts that aren’t expressly mentioned all over the boxes of the parts you already have, and I find that I’ve left a vital element of a bed, like the bits that hold up the mattress, at the warehouse.
