Bringing You The Truth In The Form Of Fashion Since 2005
If you’re anything like me, your work/ school calender is out. of. control. Every single day is packed with meetings, events, be there’s, do that’s, etc. I think that’s why I love this free download from jas + mine (via A Pair and a Spare). A beautiful design with no room for notes . . . no boxes for appointments, no 15 minute delineations. Just a beautiful reminder to appreciate every day and to look forward to those ahead. Enjoy!

Blogging 101: How to Start Your Own Personal Style Blog Photo credit Over the last few months, we’ve been interviewing some of the most fabulous girls in the blogging community for our Blogger Inspiration series. We’ve learned about their styles, as well as who they are and what they do, but so far, we haven’t looked at what it takes to be a style blogger yourself. Judging from your comments, many of you have already started your own style blogs, or have at least considered it. And for good reason – fashion blogging is growing so fast, and for the first time ever, bloggers are being noticed and taken seriously in the fashion industry.

V and Co. Blog April 15th, 2014 Daniel and I just got back from Washington, DC. We drove up for our friends’ wedding celebration, but stayed to explore a little since neither of us had been since high school. We hit some museums downtown and visited the zoo. Le Blog de Betty : Blog mode, blog tendances, photos de mode Dead Trendy – Bones: A Fashion Statement? « The Model Management Blog Leer en espanol> This is a post about ‘skellingtons’ and fashion. Yup, it’s time to start chewing on yer bones, or so it seems, as skeletons -and death- are ‘dead’ trendy. They are seen all over the haute couture catwalks, as we saw them at Gaultier and Givenchy with even burlesque star Dita von Teese playing the lovely bones as you can see here in my post forThe Wam Bam Blog. Calaveras (that’s skeletons in Spanish fer ya English folks) remind me of Frida Kahlo – Riccardo Tisci’s inspiration for Givenchy’s fab haute couture collection – you can see it here in my review of Paris Couture Fashion Week for The Model Management Blog. One of Tisci’s dresses looks exactly like one of my favourite Frida paintings, called: ‘The Broken Column’.

Honestly WTF diy A few of my lovely readers asked me how I made my photo collages on white background, and I thought it may be interesting to post about that. I'm doing it the dummy way, with a free online photo editor called Pixlr. There are a lot better options to make photo collages than the way I do it, and if you're familiar with Adobe Photoshop or similar softwares, you know my way is really not the best one. But it's an easy and quick one, perfect for beginners (and photo editing dummies like me!) The cherry blossom girl Ciao Bella

Best Wedding Blog for Vintage Weddings diy When I was in China last summer, I remember noticing that most girls had ponytails tied with a scrunchie with bunny ears. I could never pull this off, but thought it was adorable, and kept it in mind for an Easter DIY. It's a great way to use fabric scraps, a simple accessory to wear at an Easter party, and a sweet Easter gift for a little girl. When I was done with the DIY, I saw that there was a similar one on YouTube. Since it's done, I'm still posting my version, but if you would rather follow video instructions, then just hop on over to Ann Le's video tutorial. Also, I wanted to take a picture on myself to show the final result, but I really REALLY look awful these days, as a result of that never-ending sickness and tiredness.
