Though, I'm not sure how cost effective it is if you keep buying more and more cloth napkins each year! This holiday season I thought it would be fun to look at how I could dress up the napkins I already own to give them an extra festive vibe. Check out three simple ways you can give new life to your table linens. And hey! Two of them are even no sew! Ribbon Trimmed Napkin This look is so (no sew) simple! Supplies:-ribbon-heat bond in width of ribbon-cloth napkin (buy mine here)-iron-fabric scissors (not shown above) Step One: Trim pieces of your ribbon to be about 1.5 inches longer than the width of your napkins. Step Two: Fold down the edges of each ribbon segment about 1/4" and iron flat. Step Three: Iron the heat bond to the ribbon (pressing with hot iron for two seconds), then peel off the paper backing. Honestly WTF Curly-Natural-Me Blog April 15th, 2014 Daniel and I just got back from Washington, DC. We drove up for our friends’ wedding celebration, but stayed to explore a little since neither of us had been since high school. We hit some museums downtown and visited the zoo. The famous cherry blossoms happened to be in full bloom, so I wanted to walk down to the waterfront “real quick” to see them in all their glory. diy A few of my lovely readers asked me how I made my photo collages on white background, and I thought it may be interesting to post about that. I'm doing it the dummy way, with a free online photo editor called Pixlr. There are a lot better options to make photo collages than the way I do it, and if you're familiar with Adobe Photoshop or similar softwares, you know my way is really not the best one. But it's an easy and quick one, perfect for beginners (and photo editing dummies like me!)
