The restaurant is in a great spot and is a popular place for early evening people watching and volleyball on the beach. I’ve eaten there a few times and the food is always good and reasonably priced. Most backpackers head to the busier areas such as Lonely Beach where they can be with hundreds of similar travellers. If you are on a tight budget, just want to be by the sea in a quiet spot and don’t want to spend every night being bored to tears listening to Ben the gap year backpacker’s exploits in Vietnam for the umpteenth time, then Tiger Huts is a good choice. Not a place to stay if you like to party but they do have a large beachfront restaurant and bar which attracts a range of people from other resorts at the south of the beach, the neigbouring Panviman Resort and our guesthouse.
