I spent Saturday filming an upcoming commercial for the Game Show Network's, "The World Needs More Winners" campaign, telling my story about my Wheel of Fortune experience. It was an amazing opportunity, filled with lots of creative and interesting shots, I can't wait to see how it turns out! A lot of the footage focused on my Bucket List, and the traveling I'm planning to do once I receive my winnings! I've always loved vintage luggage and trunks, but every time I've stumbled upon them at antique stores or flea markets they've been way out of my price range. I found the above suitcase at Goodwill for four dollars and decided it'd be the perfect foundation for my vintage suitcase makeover! In order to get that tattered, aged look, I started by applying a paint wash to the canvas part of the suitcase. If you like a more matte, "shabby-chic" feel, you can skip this next step, or modify it a bit. The final step is adding the passport stamps.
