Next, load a short Mr. Explain to the student facing the video that his job is to describe the video to his partner. Let them do it. After, have the pairs switch seats and change the video. Note that the word oyster is important in the above story, so be sure to preteach this vocabulary. Present Continuous Speaking Activity Expansion This could be made into a more robust lesson 30/40-minute lesson by: 1) Creating warm-up questions about the topic of each video. Twitter est un site de microblogage qui permet à un utilisateur d’envoyer de brefs messages (limités à 140 caractères) appellés tweets. Il s’agit d’un réseau social que de plus en plus d’élèves fréquentent, au detriment bien souvent du réseau social Facebook. www.twitter.com Origines du projet : L’idée au depart, n’etait pas d’utiliser, mais de refléchir avec un groupe d’élèves de section européenne anglais sur les réseaux sociaux en général, au travers d’une séquence portant sur ce thème, dans le cadre de l’éducation aux medias. Les élèves avaient en grande majorité un compte Facebook et l’utilisaient régulièrement. Au cours de la séquence, nous avons réfléchi aux usages qu’ils pouvaient faire de ces réseaux sociaux et très vite, je me suis retrouvée confrontée à une difficulté évidente : ne connaissant pas Twitter, ils avaient beaucoup de mal à en comprendre le fonctionnement, l’utilité et surtout la difference avec Facebook.
