Observatorio de la Educación Iberoamericana ¿Qué es el Observatorio de la Educación Iberoamericana? El Observatorio de la Educación Iberoamericana es una instancia que posibilita situarse en un espacio geográfico, social y cultural llamado Iberoamérica y desde el cual es posible alcanzar un enfoque o punto de mira distinto para pensar y analizar la educación en toda su complejidad y riqueza. Mediante esta forma de observación se ponen de relieve tanto la diversidad como los elementos comunes de lo que en la actualidad significa el fenómeno educativo en Iberoamérica y sus modos de relación con la cultura, con los procesos productivos, con la política, y en fin, con la multiplicidad y pluralidad de acontecimientos sociales. En consecuencia el Observatorio debe entenderse como un productor de sentidos y como un generador de rutas posibles que a su vez incorpora múltiples y diversas miradas que hoy existen en la Región y que constituyen el pensamiento educativo Iberoamericano. ¿Para qué el Observatorio de la Educación Iberoamericana?

Virtual Exhibitions The Bamberg Psalter, a 13th-century manuscript held in the Bamberg State Library, counts among the most important works of South German book art from the High Middle Ages. Its beautiful painted decoration fascinates until today: It comprises 15 full-page miniatures on a gilt ground, eleven pages with large ornamental initials, 256 smaller initiales and 24 medallions in the calendar. The colourful miniatures depict scenes from the life of Christ, thus visualizing the connection between the psalms from the Old Testament and the history of salvation narrated in the New Testament. The contemporary horn binding is a great rarity. The Bamberg Psalter is a joint work created by two high-ranking artists from different regional backgrounds at the point of transition from Romanesque to Gothic art.
