They can be made with crafting paper or fabric and are super easy to put together. There are so many uses for these banners: summer parties, birthday parties, photography, or simply used as a decoration in a child’s room. I developed my own technique for making quick and easy banners using scrap pieces of fabric and very little sewing. Now I have the option of changing out my banners for the occassion!

Natasha emailed looking for help with her chosen palette of pewter with a rose or dusty pink. She’d had trouble finding an inspiration board using these colours that embodied the romantic elegance she was looking for from her wine farm wedding, with a touch of formality. I have to say, I LOVE these colours! Pink and grey are very hot right now, but there are many different shades of both colours to work with and pewter is absolutely gorgeous.

Tissue Paper Rosette Topiary I love all of the Valentine's Day crafts I have been seeing everywhere in blog land. So I wanted to make something. I saw these cute tissue paper rosettes here and I knew exactly what I wanted to make with them. I am obsessed with topiaries so I decided to make one using the rosettes. The total for the topiary was around $13. Here is what you need to make the topiary:

Fingerprints on the Fridge: Christmas topiary When I saw this photo over at BHG I knew I had to have it. No doubt, it had to be mine. I do love the colors but they wouldn’t go with much in my house at the moment, so I had to improvise. I made a ton of these Santa Jars last year to give Oreo truffles in so I just made another big ol’ one. Polaroid Wedding Guest Book - The Creative Cubby My absolute favorite element of our wedding was our Guest Book. We had heard of Polaroid guest books but I couldn't find any instructions online. So in the true spirit of winging it, I had to figure out how to put one together and make it efficient for the day. DIY Leather Bow Cuff Back in January wen I went thrift shopping with a bunch of awesome ALT ladies, I picked up a really rad bow-inspired belt. I’m not sure why I never included a pic of the belt here because it’s awesome. You can sort of see it in this outfit, but the lighting isn’t great. Anyway, that’s what spurred this cuff. Plus the fact that Chris & I bought a cow & a half worth of leather the other day.
