Old Souls And The Completion Of The Incarnation Cycle : Body, Mind, Soul & Spirit – UPDATED DAILY! | Those undergoing the fifth and final stage of reincarnation are known as old souls. In this stage of soul evolvement there is a search for balance and completion, and an urge to pass on the torch before the end of reincarnation. The Journey’s End Having completed the fourth stage of reincarnation, the soul has come a long way. - In the first stage, as an infant soul, it learned about physical existence, life and death, and the need for nurturing. - In the second stage, as a baby soul, it learned about society, culture and community, the need for structure, belonging, and playing a role. - In the third stage, as a young soul, it learned about free will and self-determination, taking charge of its own destiny, rising to the challenge. - In the fourth stage, as a mature soul, it learned about co-existence and interrelatedness, taking responsibility for its relationships, honoring difference and otherness. This return to unity does not involve any loss of individuality, as some imagine. source

Understanding the Law of Karma “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.” – Abraham Lincoln We all have come across a stage where we notice the fight of good vs. evil within us. Mind is tossed between good and evil. William Golding, in his novel “Lord of the Flies” said that, “Humans are barbaric and animalistic in nature. Give them a chance and they’ll reveal their monsters.” When we talk about monstrous and outrageous behaviour, we think of murders and instigation of communal riots/differences on the basis of race, status etceteras. These are the conscious negative choices we make for ourselves that ends up harming us the most, once we land into the court room of the universe. Know thyself and you shall know God. Contrary to this Law of Karma theory, we have capitalism (industrialisation/commercialisation) reaching to a level of destruction from where we can’t find a way back. We do know that people involved in capitalism are building up a bad karma. Image Source

EPFL | Brain Mind Institute Tuning into the needs of the Indigo Children It is incredible to be alive at this time of transformation on the Earth, our home. You can see subtle signs of change everywhere you look, and the key factor of the whole thing is happening right before our very eyes. Our children are going to one day grow up and be the leaders of the world. They are the next generation to take over from us, and to create a life for themselves on this planet. What this means is that everything we do, has an impact on the world that they are inheriting from us. Lately there is a big talk about the Indigo child. What I mean by that is if we tell kids that some people are special and some kids are not, then they are going to grow up with a pre-written program that tells them that they are better than someone else. Everyone is God, and in a way, everyone is an indigo. It’s also related to the natural evolution of our human consciousness, and the quickening of the mental processors and ability to communicate ideas. How to Nurture and Support an Indigo Child

The real Frankenstein experiment: One man's mission to create a living mind inside a machine By Michael Hanlon Updated: 08:30 GMT, 4 January 2010 Professor Markram is planning to create the world's most expensive 'baby' His words staggered the erudite audience gathered at a technology conference in Oxford last summer. Professor Henry Markram, a doctor-turned-computer engineer, announced that his team would create the world's first artificial conscious and intelligent mind by 2018. And that is exactly what he is doing. On the shore of Lake Geneva, this brilliant, eccentric scientist is building an artificial mind. The end result will be a creature, if we can call it that, which its maker believes within a decade may be able to think, feel and even fall in love. Professor Markram's 'Blue Brain' project, must rank as one of the most extraordinary endeavours in scientific history. Success will bring with it philosophical, moral and ethical conundrums of the highest order, and may force us to confront what it means to be human. 'We will do it by 2018,' says the professor confidently.

Existential Crisis and How to Overcome it An existential crises is that point in our lives where we encounter the absurd as a formidable opponent. It has crept into our lives, uninvited, and challenging the very meaning of existence. The crisis is strong: it can take away the colors of the world around us making it dull. Time, rather than a friend can become the enemy, and life, rather than a blessing, turns into a problem. Crisis occur either when the answers to our fundamental questions are found or not found, either way, it poses a challenge that involve the whole of our being. Once we have emerged victorious, we feel a huge amount of vital energy that drives us to self-fulfillment. We face questions like: what does it mean to be alive, what does it mean to be existing as a human being? Existential is a philosophical current captured mainly in literary works, which revolves around how we experience life with our human condition, that is, life as we live it, alongside with the good and troublesome parts.

Cern: where art and science collide | The Art Newspaper Artists Switzerland Arts and science are similar in that they are expressions of what it is to be human in this world By Ariane Koek. Web onlyPublished online: 04 October 2011 Olafur Eliasson's "Your Split Second House", shown at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2010, took physics as its jumping-off point It is one of the fashionable arts movements of the moment. Almost every week, across the world, exhibitions are opening that are billed as arts/science to cash in on this emerging trend, which is also driven by new funding possibilities from science in the current arts cash crisis. But we are in the middle of a crisis of another kind—a reduction in the wonder of creativity itself, and the question of who controls it and how. But there is a battle to do just that, and reduce creativity to a systematic formula in our function-obsessed, input-output, application-driven world. Let me explain. I have deliberately set it up to be a laboratory of the imagination, where freeplay can happen.
