Nine Reasons You Should Boycott Apple Apple's intransigence shows that it cares little of what its customers and the public think. In the social media era that is a stance which can cost a company dearly in lost profits. Few companies today manage to inspire passion the way Apple does. It appears that hardly a day goes by without the company and its practices making headlines somewhere. This leads to a ‘love it’ or ‘hate it’ kind of approach and they are both wrong. While we may choose to love (as well as hate) a company, it is an emotive response which has little to do with what the company does and a whole lot with how it makes us feel. Although we would like to think that we are rational animals, our purchasing history and willingness to form relationships with brands, argues otherwise. That future has to be based on reason. Ironic Situation Let me preface this post by saying that I enjoy a clean headshot as much as the next guy. And I’m not suggesting that violent content should be removed from video games either. In fact, I’m a proponent the belief that giving people the ability to act out this sort of behavior in a fantasy environment decreases the chance of acting it out in reality. [1] What I’m saying is that I don’t see the logic behind an illegal behavior being considered more acceptable than one that isn’t. An with that I leave this diatribe vague.

Downloadable Computer Repair CDs One of our Technibble forum members, PcTek9, and a handful of other Technibble members have compiled a large list of CDs for various computer repair tasks. In this list, the following types of CD are available for download: Antivirus Boot CDs, Recovery Disks, Hardware Diagnostic Boot CDs, Network Testing/Monitoring, Data Recovery Boot CDs and Special Purpose CDs. Some of these are free to download, some are not. Also, some of these CD’s may set off an antivirus false positive due to their virus removal, password cracking, system file changing nature. Some CDs have been purposely left out of this list as they contain illegal software. Creating Multiboot CDs Many people have expressed an interest in creating a multi-boot CD or USB stick.
