There is also an overlooked feature in VLC that allows you to rip your DVDs as well. Here we will take a look at how to rip DVD movies with VLC for Windows. Note: This feature should work with VLC versions 0.9.6 and up. Ripping a DVD with VLC Load up the DVD you want to rip and start up VLC. The Open Media window will appear and you want to click on the Disc tab. Next the Convert screen opens where you will want to select a location for the ripped file. While the DVD is being ripped you will see a progress count in the main UI. You may notice a slowdown of your system as the process takes up a lot of resources.

The guide begins reassuringly with: “Using the bus could not be easier.” It goes on to warn that passengers should “first of all decide on what bus you need” and once the right bus has been spotted, with the “number and destination on the front”, one should then “signal for the driver to stop.” The guide continues: “Wait until the bus is stopped and the doors are fully opened and step on board.”

How to Fix Your Relatives' Terrible Computer HOLY CRAP. Windows CDs are possibly the most dangerous things a person could get their hands on. I work in a computer repair shop and a good percentage of the system problems we have are caused by morons that installed Windows OVER their recovery partition (I mean, yes, into an ~8gb partition, with their original Windows inactive in the big 150gb partition next to it that they're unaware of), or tried "repairing" it with an old XP Pro Corp CD they had laying around. And here, this article is saying to just "run it, erase partitions, let it do its thing"?! Without any regard to what type (home/pro, oem/retail) the disc is? Rule of thumb: ALL SYSTEMS have a recovery partition, with few exceptions. But to tell people to just grab a Windows CD?

How To Make Electronic Music With Computer? Where To Start? I decided to write down some guidelines on how to make electronic music (although some of the following tips may apply to other musical genres as well, not just electronic music) covering such things as what hardware is required or recommended, what kind of music making software is needed, how to get a hang of different kind of electronic music styles, etc. There’s a lot of choices in hardware and software, countless of ways to do things in production wise and as many arguments and differing opinions as there are producers. In this article I try to point you to the right direction in electronic music production, muchly based on my own experience. A little info about myself is that electronic music production has been my longtime hobby for years and I’ve been creating tunes on such genres as trance, downtempo, ambient and experimental. Some of my songs has been released commercially through record labels and has also been used in a film project. So, without further ado, let’s begin! 1. 2.

Barcode Yourself by Scott Blake Barcode Yourself is a complete, interactive experience in the series of barcode art, created using the personalized data of participants. Enter an individual's gender, weight, height, age and location, and the barcode is formed using real-world data. The individualized barcode can then be printed, mapped, scanned, even depicted on a t-shirt or coffee mug. Uber-geeks can even test out their barcodes on their next grocery run. It is in scanning a barcode that the project reveals its humor, like a banner that reads: Disclaimer! Human beings are not merely worth somewhere between one cent and 10 dollars. It is here, within the confines of an American obsession with "worth," in which the fun begins. The data entered into Barcode Yourself takes a topsy-turvy twist to its personalized end numbers, with the exception of the hard-data that correlates with "location," which tallies up in the Gross Domestic Product of each country. 10 Convicts Presumed Innocent After Execution Crime English jurist William Blackstone once said, “Better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer.” Even lawyers are indoctrinated with this concept early in law school. Whether you support with the death penalty or not, most individuals would agree with the statement above. Despite the United State’s innocent-until-proven-guilty legal system, there are several cases where a presumably innocent person is convicted of a crime, some even put to death. Carlos De Luna Executed in 1989 In February 1983, Wanda Lopez, was stabbed to death during her night shift at the gas station where she worked.
