En premier lieu, le projet devra être redessiné pour que son emprise et l’impact sur les surfaces agricoles soient moindres. La commission de dialogue formule aussi 14 recommandations au service d’une plus grande transparence dans le débat. Les chiens ont contribué a changé notre monde ; sans leurs capacités, il n'aurait peut-être jamais été possible aux humains de survivre dans des régions inhospitalières comme le Grand nord. On dit que ce sont les humains qui ont initié cette relation, en essayant progressivement d'apprivoiser les loups. Aujourd'hui une nouvelle théorie voit le jour, suggérant que ce sont les loups qui se seraient approchés des humains afin de profiter de leurs restes de nourriture...
