free desktop wallpapers, widescreen, dual monitors, iPhone wallpapers, backgrounds for mobile phones, wallpaper clocks, e-cards HD Wallpapers = High Definition Wallpapers + recommended by Wallpapers-room Digital Blasphemy 3D Wallpaper Best Sites to Download Very High Resolution Wallpapers I have noticed a huge trend in my office after looking through the web browsing logs. A hell of a lot of people are on the look for High Resolution Wallpapers for their desktops. Some of the users searched for “high res wallpapers” and others for “very high resolution backgrounds”. In February last year, Tina listed the “The Best Resources to Pimp Your Wallpaper” with some great resources as well. There is something for everyone and we would love to see what you are using as a desktop background on your machine. DeviantArt My favorite site by far, for the longest time is DeviantArt. The DeviantArt website is easy to navigate and does not require registration to download! InterfaceLIFT My second favorite site is InterFaceLift.com which is mostly free (they have some paid wallpapers) but the ones I checked out were all free! From here, you can choose your resolution and then download the image. Glaciar Vale House Neidong Water-Fall

Wally is a kick-ass, connected wallpaper changer for Windows, Mac, and Linux There are plenty of wallpaper-changing applications out there, and plenty of them can tap into photo sharing sites like Flickr and Photobucket for access to a plethora of images. Still, not many of them are quite as well-connected as Wally. Even fewer are cross-platform. Wally, though, is happy to share its background-rotating skills with Windows, Mac, and Linux users alike. It's built using Nokia's Qt4 framework and supports an insane number of image sources: local and remote folders (via FTP), and popular photo sites like Flickr, Yahoo!, Panoramio, Pikeo, Ipernity, Photobucket, Buzznet, Picasa, Smugmug, and Bing. Customization options are plentiful, from specifying the delay between image changes to tweaking the size of your local image history store. Wally is free and open source, and pre-compiled downloads are available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Wallpaper Juggler downloads, automatically cycles high-res images from InterfaceLift Those of you who enjoy rotating through a variety of fresh wallpaper images have probably heard of InterfaceLIFT and Wallpaper Stock. They're both excellent places to download high-quality background images for your desktop. Perhaps you'd rather take the hands-free approach and let an application handle downloading duties. Have a look at Wallpaper Juggler, a tiny, portable app for Windows which plugs into both sites and cycles through the images it downloads. The tray app also includes two-click access to delete the current wallpaper as well as a link to your preferences and the download task window. Juggler is a nice, basic app -- if you want something with a bit more "oomph," check out previously-mentioned Wally or John's Background Switcher. Shuffle your wallpaper and Embed RSS feeds into your active desktop with Chaos Wallpaper Chaos Wallpaper is a free program that has the dual function of shuffling your wallpaper as well as embedding RSS/ATOM feeds into your active desktop background. You can optionally use any one of the two functions or both together. There are a number of desktop wallpaper shuffling programs around; this one, however, has the distinction of functioning as an RSS news aggregator that can interactively embed your feeds straight into your desktop. This means that your feeds will refresh periodically but also be clickable as well as scrollable using an on-screen slider on the right hand side. Here are more notes on this program. Image Shuffling: the program requires that you point it to a folder that contains images to shuffle, and it will go through all of these. Wish list (or how this program can be even better): Currently, the shuffling of the wallpaper and refreshing of the RSS feeds happens in tandem, with no apparent way to separate the two. Version Tested: 2.1.003
