We'll try and balance meal time, finances, home life, DIY and more. If you're new, you may like to subscribe for free updates. Born and raised in Wisconsin, known for their cheese, beer and Packers, I would be remiss to not share this amazing Beer Dip recipe that my sister in law introduced me too. This makes a fantastic game day food, and I planned on sharing it again when my Pack headed back to the Superbowl, but I won’t dwell on that heartache. The irony here is that I don’t drink any beer – never have, never will, and I don’t like the taste one bit, but that doesn’t stand in the way of me making this Wisconsin beer dip, a game-day favorite. I’m always on the hunt for recipes that whip up quickly. Enjoy! Are you looking for another great party or game day appetizer? Summary: This creamy Beer Dip recipe is perfect with pretzels or scoops. Confessions of a Cookbook Queen — How Sweet It Is Our Best Bites | Tips, Tricks, and Tastes from Two Real-Life Kitchens Potato Rings with Homemade Buttermilk Ranch If french fries and onion rings ever got married and had a baby, I think it would be something like this…a potato ring. You have a light and crispy outer coating with a soft potato and caramelized onion center…why? Because we can I guess, who knows…but it’s kind of fun, right?! My boyfriend and his friends have this thing where every super bowl they have a “Deep-Fry Fest” where, well they deep fry everything; so if you’re anything like my boyfriend you now have another “Deep Fry Fest” recipe to use! Two things I can’t stress enough is: 1) the importance of having the potatoes completely coated; no holes please, or the mashed potatoes will pour out of the holes once they hit the oil. 2) the importance of the rings being frozen solid before entering the oil…it just helps with the frying, that’s all. Finally, since ranch is pretty much good with anything it only seemed natural to pair these savory, fried treats with a quick and easy homemade ranch sauce. Directions: 1.

I’ve handpicked these from around the net and focused on featuring those that are for long term storage (though there are a small number that go straight to the refrigerator, these are noted). It's Satisfying To Stock Up The Pantry With Canned Goods This collection highlights garden fresh produce that is pickled, packed in syrups or just in water and I’ve sorted them alphabetically (by vegetable or fruit item) so it will be easy to find what you’re looking for. Creamy Avocado Dip and Baked Taco Potato Chips My favorite color is blue the color of seafoam. Then again, I like green the color of seafoam, too. I suppose, then, my favorite color is seafoam and I should stop trying to crunch it into a crayon color because it’s perfect, just the way it is. Seafoam is a color we used to have around until we up & moved to a new house 3 years ago and I got a wild hair and bought a red couch. You won't believe how easy this potato chip dip is, or how entirely impossible it is to stop eating. You can find the recipe for the Taco Baked Chips right here.
