20 Amazing Snow Photos Because it’s winter, and because in winter it’s all about the snow, here are a few outstanding photos of winter landscapes from all around the world. Enjoy! (via National Geographic) South Haven, Michigan - Photograph by Charlie Anderson This is What Happens When You Give Thousands of Stickers to Thousands of Kids This December, in a surprisingly simple yet ridiculously amazing installation for the Queensland Gallery of Modern Ar, artist Yayoi Kusama constructed a large domestic environment, painting every wall, chair, table, piano, and household decoration a brilliant white, effectively serving as a giant white canvas. Over the course of two weeks, the museum’s smallest visitors were given thousands upon thousands of colored dot stickers and were invited to collaborate in the transformation of the space, turning the house into a vibrantly mottled explosion of color. How great is this? Given the opportunity my son could probably cover the entire piano alone in about fifteen minutes. The installation, entitled The Obliteration Room, is part of Kusama’s Look Now, See Forever exhibition that runs through March 12. If you liked this you’ll also enjoy Roman Ondak’s Room of Heights and Karina Smigla-Bobinski’s helium-filled kinetic drawing sculpture.

The 25 Most Powerful Songs of the Past 25 Years by Jennifer Drapkin, Kevin O'Donnell and Ky Henderson They’re not the most beautiful songs, or the most musically important. In fact, a few could literally drive you nuts. Hiding the Lockheed Plant during World War II - wow this is amazing! Hidden in Plain View During WW II Lockheed (unbelievable 1940s pictures). This is a version of special effects during the 1940's. I have never seen these pictures or knew that we had gone this far to protect ourselves. During World War II the Army Corps of Engineers needed to hide the Lockheed Burbank Aircraft Plant to protect it from a possible Japanese air attack. Rune Guneriussen & Escape Into Life - StumbleUpon These dream-like installations are assembled, and then photographed by Norwegian artist Rune Guneriussen. Just imagine being out for a walk in Norway’s countryside, turning a corner and discovering a magical forest of lamps, a tangle of chairs, or a river of books. Sadly, once the photograph is taken, Rune removes the installation, the only proof of it’s existence being these images… sort of like waking up from an amazing dream that you could have sworn was real. As an artist, I believe strongly that art itself should be questioning and bewildering as opposed to patronising and restricting. As opposed to the current fashion I do not want to dictate a way to the understanding of my art, but rather indicate a path to understanding a story. Rune Guneriussen’s site

How To Say I Love You In 100 Languages I found this fantastic list and wanted to share it with you. It’s how to say “I love you” in more than 100 languages. Don’t think about it as something that serious, but more as a means to have fun and to take a smile out of a girl. It’s always cool to have something unique to say if you meet a Hungarian, Icelandic or Korean girl :) For more how-tos, advice and other language tricks, check out my inspiration blog – there’s plenty of goodness in there!
