It was a productive day, and after the intensity of the Kickstarter appeal, it was nice to be back to doing what is the most important part of the project. Anna’s case was in nice condition and the wicker pattern was lovely. Thank you all for your support and interest in the project. Willard Suitcases / Ethel S Ethel S came to Willard with some beautiful quilts, which I have reason to believe she had made herself. She also had some interesting photographs, and her Bible was a very nice edition. As you can see, Ethel was admitted on 3 July, 1930.

Luckily, for those of us who were of a mind to care about such things, WH Allen, the west London publishing form that had been novelising the TV show, won the rights to publish original novels, and continued the story of the seventh Doctor and Ace after the end of the TV show. With an audience composed more of adult fans than children, the New Adventures were more adult/adolescent (delete to taste) than the TV show that had spawned them, featuring, in no particular order, sex, swears, steampunk, space marines and rather a lot of existential angst. This series, and the various others that followed, not only gave the fans something to fill the long interregnum.

These apocryphal books were positioned between the Old and New Testament (it also contained maps and geneologies). The apocrypha was a part of the KJV for 274 years until being removed in 1885 A.D. A portion of these books were called deuterocanonical books by some entities, such as the Catholic church. Many claim the apocrypha should never have been included in the first place, raising doubt about its validity and believing it was not God-inspired (for instance, a reference about magic seems inconsistent with the rest of the Bible: Tobit chapter 6, verses 5-8). Keep this in mind when reading the following apocryphal books.
