Naturesongs Nature Recordings and Photos Inspiring Conceptual Photographs121clicks.com Conceptual photography as a part of conceptual art is a photography genre in which the artist makes a photograph of a concept or idea. Usually the conception of the idea precedes the realization of the photography. This kind of photography often involves use of computer editing to achieve the desired effects, but many artists work without the computer. They “put in place” the things and the beings that will be the subject of the final photograph, and the placement of those things and beings “build” the concept, the idea, and the final outcome, as for example the famous Judy Dater’s conceptual photograph “Imogen and Twinka”. Below we present over 50 beautiful examples of Conceptual Photography. We humans need our hula hoops, Game Boys and crossword puzzles to keep ourselves amused. Even if he was born in captivity, your bird inherited many of the foraging, nesting and mating instincts of his wild ancestors. Some birds may seem to ignore or even fear toys at first. Do it yourself It's usually easy enough to find at least a couple of toys your bird likes, but when you get into the medium-to-large sizes, they can be prohibitively expensive, costing from $20 to $50 or more apiece. It's fun making your own bird toys and can save you a lot of money. Recently, an avian veterinarian who was tired of spending over $20 on each toy for his macaw asked me to make some toys for him. The origin of this bird dates back to the 11th century while it is also referred to, in the old testament of the bible. Egyptians caught Quails from their farmland for the purpose of meat while in china these birds were kept as pets and as “singing birds”. In the late 11th century quail was brought to Japan where it was first domesticated. Since the farming and breeding of quail is credited to the Japanese it’s called a Japanese quail or a Coturnix Quail. Taming Aggressive Birds - How to Stop Birds from Biting There is no such thing as a mean bird. It's true! There are, however, birds that are fearful, and birds with emotional problems that cause them to want to avoid handling at all costs. When birds with these problems find themselves in pet situations, it can be disastrous for both bird and owner. If your pet bird bites you when you try to handle it, it is critical that you address the issue. Move to a neutral location. Photo of "Pepper" courtesy of Patricia Lowery and Marvette Hillis.
