But money doesn't have to stand in the way of honoring your mom (and Mother Earth). You can make a beautiful and more importantly, meaningful, gift for Mother's Day. And what mom would not be thrilled to receive an item infused with meaning made by hand from someone she loves? Here are a few ideas. Picture frame jewelry holder 1) Choose an old picture frame and remove any backing. 2) Cut a piece of window screen that overlaps the back of the frame 1/2 inch. 3) Staple or nail the window screen to the back of the frame. 4) Screw in some cuphooks along the bottom of the frame to hold rings and/or in the top corners to hold necklaces and bracelets. 5) If you want the holder to hang, add a picture hangar to the back.

Owl Lover 2011 Calendar My name is Shivani and I am the author of My Owl Barn. I want to thank you for your support on behalf of all 30 artists who made the “Owl Lover 2011 Calendar” project possible. Ever since I started My owl Barn I have come across many talented artists and have featured most of them on the blog. This calendar is the outcome of my desire to work closely with them and to create something great for all the owl lovers! When I contacted them with my idea for this owl-themed calendar, not only did I receive the custom made wonderful owl art work, but also words of encouragement and best wishes which kept me going. All the beautiful art in this calendar will warm any owl lover’s heart. This calendar will make a perfect Christmas gift for any one who loves art or is an owl fan (or both.) Instructions: Select the month from the drop down below each art work and hit "Download Calendar" button at the bottom of the page. In a rush?

Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition The Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition has been awarded since 1960. The award is presented to the composer of an original piece of music (not an adaptation), first released during the eligibility year. In theory, any style of music is eligible for this category, but winning compositions are usually in the jazz or film score genres. The Grammy is awarded to the composer(s) of the music, not to the performing artist, except if the artist is also the composer. There have been several minor changes to the name of the award: Years reflect the year in which the Grammy Awards were presented, for works released in the previous year. 2010s[edit] Nominees Nominees (performing artists, followed by the title of the composition, with performer(s) and album title in parentheses) Nominees (artists names, followed by album title, in parentheses) 2000s[edit] 1990s[edit] 1980s[edit] 1970s[edit] 1960s[edit]

Best Ambient Music Of All Time ( Top 25 ) Best ambient music of all time lists are quite popular on the internet. While waiting for some mixes to render I came across this list by "Darktremor" over at "listology". Here he lists his "Top Ambient Music Of All Time." 1. I almost unarguably call this the best ambient album of all time. It is truly a work of art that can be listened to (or rather, slept to) again and again: it almost never grows tiring, because it takes you to so many places. 2. I've always felt like this sounded like a world created within a song. 3. This is a pretty experimental work, but still fantastic. You find yourself flying above the earth's atmosphere on a sound wave, through space, underwater, to unimaginable, beautiful, and warm tropical places, before finally finding yourself away from the island, sailing home on a ghost ship, called by the transmitter. 4. You're going to have trouble tracking this one down. Oddly though, this world changes with each listen. 5. 6. This is a beautiful album. 7. 8. 9.

Creative Kismet & Blog Archive & little guiding stars Since the new year has started I’ve been trying to think of ways to be more kind to my self. Especially when that nasty gremlins try to creep in and stump me. I remembered this origami star video on You Tube and had to get them involved in my plan. I thought it would be fun to make a whole bunch with kind words and “you are….” phrases inside. I used 12 x 12 inch scrapbook paper and cut 1/2 x 12″ strips, then followed the video HERE*. *UPDATE!
