En outre, cette archive dispose d’une grande collection de documents du septième art qui sont mis à disposition à des fins culturelles et scientifiques, comme les autres films d’archives. La collection contient environ 45.000 titres (soit au total près de 100.000 copies). Pour l’entreposage, les archives utilisent aujourd’hui une superficie de plus de 10.000 m2 répartie sur trois entrepôts. Depuis 1946, la CINEMATEK est membre de la International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF). 130 archives cinématographiques se sont rejointes au sein de la FIAF, ce qui équivaut à la majorité des archives mondiales. The Film Collection - Beit Hatfutsot The Film Collection of Beit Hatfutsot, a unique collection that has been amassed since the museum’s inception, consists of about 800 documentaries, depicting all aspects of Jewish life in the Diaspora. The film archive has also prepared translations, purchased films, and received often undistributed professional and amateur films that cover a wide range of subjects of Jewish interest: Visitors may use the study area to view hundreds of films at their own leisure. Beit Hatfutsot is always looking to expand its collection.
