Planet Explorers on Steam Planets Explorers is a vast world of discovery, creation, and survival. This game is simply too complex to describe in just a few words. This review will be a challenge to write, as the game just has so much to offer. Planet Explorers is a survival sandbox adventure game developed by Pathea Games. First, there is the Story Mode – a single player campaign experience, complete with numerous quests that send you out into the awe-inspiring world to create your own adventure. The Replicator is very simple to use. Next, we have Adventure Mode. Finally, we have Build Mode. Wow, that’s a lot, isn’t it? Planet Explorers also has Multiplayer! In the game you play as one of the many drifters, a nomadic AI who seeks to unravel the technologies of old times, forgotten from long ago. Atmosphere The world itself is really well made. Difficulty The game is very hard, on a level of Dark Souls and beyond. Collectables There are a lot of little secrets hidden in the game, some of which are gearbits used to upgrade the dash ability, weapons, health kit slot upgrades and grenades. Controls The game plays best with a gamepad, which includes dashing, attacking with the sword, shooting, aiming and switching weapons, throwing grenades and healing. The negative The only deal breaker for some could be that the game only plays at 30 FPS. Conclusion I'd totally recommend this game, even at its current price.
