Our 13 Most Popular Photography Tips of All Time A Post By: Darren Rowse Yesterday I was doing a little analysis of the statistics behind dPS as I did a little planning for the coming months on the site and as I looked at them I realised that some of what I was seeing would probably be interesting for you our readership. I’ll share a few of the stats below – but I thought that of particular interest to newer readers of dPS would be our a list of our most read tutorials and tips. A few other stats that readers might be interested in: dPS was founded in April 2006. While it feels like we’ve been around for a long time we’re a relatively new site in the photography niche. How You Can Help dPS Grow The main reason that dPS has grown to the point that it has is that over the last 4 years our community has been incredibly active in contributing to and promoting our site. We greatly appreciate your help in these (and other) ways.
DNA/Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Infocom Adventure History There was a time when computer games didn't have graphics. Or at least they couldn't have graphics and sound at the same time. They certainly couldn't have graphics, sound and enough content to keep even a human being amused for more than a few minutes. So they had text. Then graphics games came along and the computer using portion of the human race forgot all about 500,000 years of language evolution and went straight back to the electronic equivalent of banging rocks together - the point'n'click game. Something strange has now happened. And now some news ... If you've read this far, congratulations, you clearly have one of the necessary requirements to play the actual game online. If you don't have Java, then may we suggest the BBC's rather excellent 20th Anniversary Edition? To avoid the dissapointment of a pointless quarter-megabyte download (and to prevent our poor server from being hammered by thousands of fruitless fetches) we moved the game to its own page. Enjoy!
PBase Hobbit Ears - Frodo's (Smaller) Ears Availability: Dimensions: 3.3" (H x W x D)8.4 cm For Hobbits-at-heart everywhere, here's a wonderful piece of The Lord Of The Rings to wear with pride - like a Hobbit. Hand made here at Weta Workshop by Makeup Supervisor Frances Hawker and her team. These are Frodo's ears and are slighty smaller than Sam's ears. The distance between where your earlobe meets your cheek and where the top of your ear meets your temple is 1.7in (45mm). See the middle image above for more info on how to measure. If your ears are larger than this, you should get Sam's Ears instead. As the ears are small and light, you can order up to three pairs for the same shipping cost! 20 Super Geeky Weddings There’s nothing wrong with adding some geeky touches to your special day, like dancing to the Dragonborn song from Skyrim or sending Super Mario wedding invitations. Super Mario and Princess Peach Wedding Looks like Mario finally found the right castle and got to marry his princess. Twilight Wedding (They legally changed their name to Cullen) Sure, Bella had a beautiful dress and there’s nothing wrong with recreating the look of the Twilight wedding, but this couple took things a little too far by changing their last name to Cullen. iPad Wedding Usually wedding officiants reference some kind of holy book, but apparently this couple felt that was a little outdated and upgraded to an iPad.
