High-speed multimedia radio Basics[edit] Capabilities[edit] HSMM can support most of the traffic that the Internet currently does, including video chat, voice, instant messaging, the Web (HTTP), file transfer (FTP), and forums. The only differences being that with HSMM, such services are community instead of commercially implemented and it is mostly wireless. HSMM can even be connected to the Internet and used for web surfing, although because of the FCC regulations on permitted content, this is done only when directly used for ham radio activities (Part97). Frequencies and channels[edit] The following is a list of the 802.11 channels that overlap into an amateur radio band under the FCC in the United States. The following images show the overlapping relationship of the Part 15 unlicensed bands and the Part 97 licensed bands. 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g 5.8 GHz 802.11a Acronyms Used: (amateur radio) (ISM) (Radar) Channels and power[edit] 802.11a[edit] 802.11b[edit] 802.11g[edit] 802.11n[edit] Frequency sharing[edit] 802.11a[edit]

Crystalinks Green Ribbon Schools | Green Ribbon Schools We understand that Game Design can be new and intimidating. So we have developed a simple Lesson Plan for teachers to follow. No matter how computer-phobic you may be, you can complete this Lesson Plan with your students in 3-5 weeks (some have even completed it in less). No game design or coding experience necessary. (With game design experience you can complete this in a matter of days). Entering the contest is as easy as 1-2-3: Follow the teacher friendly Lesson Plan provided in the Toolkit below (For those with no Game Design experience, allow 4-5 weeks to complete the lesson plan) Review the Submission Checklist below to make sure you have completed all the requirements for submission Make sure you publish your Results Page submission on the Green Ribbon Schools website by March 31st. What is a Results Page and how do I Create and then Publish one? Completing a game design contest can be a new and intimidating adventure. The Toolkit includes: And more... Prizes: Judging Criteria: Rules:

IEEE 802.11 IEEE 802.11 is a set of media access control (MAC) and physical layer (PHY) specifications for implementing wireless local area network (WLAN) computer communication in the 2.4, 3.6, 5 and 60 GHz frequency bands. They are created and maintained by the IEEE LAN/MAN Standards Committee (IEEE 802). The base version of the standard was released in 1997 and has had subsequent amendments. The LinksysWRT54G contains a router with an 802.11b/g radio and two antennae General description[edit] The 802.11 family consists of a series of half-duplex over-the-air modulation techniques that use the same basic protocol. History[edit] 802.11 technology has its origins in a 1985 ruling by the U.S. In 1991 NCR Corporation/AT&T (now Alcatel-Lucent and LSI Corporation) invented the precursor to 802.11 in Nieuwegein, The Netherlands. In 1999, the Wi-Fi Alliance was formed as a trade association to hold the Wi-Fi trademark under which most products are sold.[5] Protocol[edit] 802.11-1997 (802.11 legacy)[edit]

World Mysteries processingas - A port of the Processing programming language to ActionScript. Processing.as is a port of the Processing programming language to ActionScript. It includes a fully functional parser and evaluator, as well as an API layer, to run many existing and new Processing scripts. To check out Processing.as in action, take a look at the following examples: The processing.swf file can be placed in any webpage and loaded with a Processing script dynamically via JavaScript. var Processing = null; ProcessingAS.onLoad = function () { // movie loaded, get object reference Processing = document.getElementById('processing'); // start interactivity Processing.start();} ProcessingAS.onStart = function () { // drawing APIs are now available Processing.size(200, 200); Processing.fill(255, 0, 0); Processing.rect(0, 0, 100, 100); // run some Processing code Processing.run('line(0, 0, width, height)');} ProcessingAS.onResize = function (w, h) { // Processing canvas resized; resize embedded element Processing.width = w; Processing.height = h;}

Wild Mood Swings <p style="font-size:x-large;">Oh no! You don't have Javascript enabled. Please <a href=" Javascript now</a> or the only moods you'll experience will be boredom and frustration.</p><hr noshade> Pick your mood, click the button and Wild Mood Swings will open an appropriate website in a new window. What is Wild Mood Swings? It's a simple game and online web experience: you select a mood from the pull-down list, click on 'take me away' and it'll whisk you away to an appropriate site. Each time you reload the page or click the shuffle moods link, the moods are sorted into a different order, adding an additional element of serendipity. What do I need to work it? Some of the links will take you to sites that require the Flash plug-in or Chrome browser. If it's not working, it's possible you have a pop-up blocker installed that is stopping Wild Mood Swings from opening your destination site in a new window. Why was it developed? When was it launched?

Flower of Life Sacred Geometry - Flower of Life By Andrew Monkman I believe the complete ancient flower of life is an inter-dimensional tool, a portal, a stargate, a window into what some call the inter space plains. The original flower of life (found on several pillars within "the Osireion" at abydos in Egypt) is incomplete, because it is only the first layer of three (pic1+2). 1. The Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt. 2. The complete flower has the other two layers added, making it three dimensional (pic3). 3. What appears is a reptilian entity. Flower of Life - Beijing, China The second being is the Chinese dragon ( the fu dog). You may know that the complete flower contains the kabbalah`s tree of life, the fruit, the egg and the seed of life (pic. 4 & 5). 4. 5. The complete flower also contains the three dimensional metatron cube (pic6), which holds all the Platonic solids (pic7). 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. The Math and ActionScript of Curves: Drawing Quadratic and Cubic Curves We see lines used in a lot of scenarios. Curves are also used, although perhaps not as frequently - but that doesn't undermine their importance! In this tutorial we shall take a closer look at curves, particularly the quadratic and cubic curve, along with some of their commonly used mathematical features. Final Result Preview Let's take a look at the final result we will be working towards. And here's another demo, using cubic curves, without the gradients: Step 1: Curves Quadratic and cubic will be featured in each of these sections. g(x) = Ax^3 + Bx^2 + Cx + D\ ... Note that A, B, C and D are real numbers. Step 2: Graphing Curves First, let's graph a quadratic curve. Left graph is using Cartesian coordinate spaceRight graph is using Flash coordinate space The obvious difference is the inverted y-axis on Flash coordinate space. Step 3: Quadratic Coefficients To position quadratic curves at the right spot, we need to understand their corresponding equations. Step 4: Alternative Equation One
