Du vide, du rien, du léger comme décor: une table suspendu, des murs blancs, une planche avec quelques gateaux et un comptoir réduit au plus simple. On a parfois l'impression d’être devant une sélection; ou bien encore l'exposition des trouvailles de fouilles archéologiques voire de pièces à conviction. Les preuves sont donc là devant nous, franches et évidentes, cet homme sait manier le beau avec la force. Les desserts sont tous appétissant, mêlant couches, textures et ingrédients de manière fines et pertinentes.
que faire a londres sur 3 jours? - les ticuls au soleil tout d'abord à mon sens le quartier de paddington me parait le meilleur compromis pour le logement. il regorge d'hotels, tous quasiment identiques question prix, service taille des chambres. vous êtes à londres! donc oui les chambres sont petites, bruyantes(faut bien sortir du pub d'en face!ben oui ca fait du bruit!) pourquoi paddington? pour sa proximité avec hide park, et ses écureuils sa statur de peter pan, son calme et sa volupté son romantisme a tomber... pour sa proximité avec oxford street, LA rue commercante. le paradis de la boule a facette face au magasin secret angels sur regent l'incontournable liberty of london carnaby pour un jean's chez pepe irregular choice dispo sur spartoo depuis peu, on ne trouve pas toutes les folles collections mais c'est un bon début pour sa proximité également avec la gare routière et les transferts de l'aeroport. pour ses prix pas excessifs...vous etes au coeur de londres coincés entre notting hill le quartier branchouille bourgeois vue sur le" tate"
The Foodish Boy - Food & Drink ninspired by his day job behind a desk and obsessed by all things culinary at night, Alex Nazaruk was after a role in the food industry that could also satisfy his travel itch. “My immediate thought was to visit kitchens around the world,” he says. That idea was the beginnings of The Foodish Boy, a project that entailed travelling around the world for an entire year while working in a different food job every week. “I was daring to dream, ‘is this possible?’ It was a nice story and gave me something to work towards.” Hailing from the UK, Nazaruk kicked off working at a craft brewery in northern England. With no kitchen experience under his belt before launching himself into restaurant work, it was a tough gig starting out. “In Mexico in September last year, the project really started taking off,” says Nazaruk, where he spent time working at the celebrated Pujol restaurant – it’s number 17 on San Pellegrino’s The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.

S’engager sur Portobello Road et repérer sur la droite au numéro 22 la blue plate dédiée à George Orwell. Ne pas louper ce petit magasin de plaques en fer avec des slogans rigolos. Chiner dans les magasins d’antiquité et vintage. Il est temps de prendre un petit en-cas et de recharger les batteries, non? A quelques encablures se trouve un petit musée pas très connu: le museum of brands packaging & advertising. Sur le côté gauche de Portobello road, the Electric cinema. A gauche, sur Blenheim Crescent deux choses à voir pour les foodies. La librairie Books for Cooks, spécialisée comme son nom l’indique dans les livres de cuisine. Yo!
