En el momento actual, y en diversas poblaciones, muchas asociaciones de voluntariado y entidades sin afán de lucro están desarrollando con éxito proyectos de aprendizaje-servicio, en colaboración con escuelas, institutos y centros de educación no formal. Estas prácticas confirman que el aprendizaje-servicio no sólo contribuye a luchar contra el fracaso escolar y a mejorar la cohesión social en los barrios y poblaciones, sino que, además, fortalece el tejido asociativo y el voluntariado.
