Uso de tecnología en la educación es clave para fomentar el aprendizaje social En el siglo XXI los trabajos requieren cada vez más competencias relacionadas con las habilidades sociales y emocionales, como la colaboración, la comunicación y la resolución de problemas. Además, el aprendizaje emocional y social (SEL, por sus siglas en inglés) confiere beneficios académicos. Por ejemplo, una reciente encuesta global desarrollada por The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) y el Foro Económico Mundial ha mostrado que el desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional puede incrementar el rendimiento académico en hasta 11 puntos porcentuales.
