Paris Travel Information and Travel Guide - France Paris has a timeless familiarity for first-time and frequent visitors, with instantly recognisable architectural icons, along with exquisite cuisine, chic boutiques and priceless artistic treasures. Iconic Architecture The wrought-iron spire of the Eiffel Tower piercing the clouds, the broad Arc de Triomphe guarding Paris’ most glamorous avenue, the Champs-Élysées, the gargoyled Notre Dame cathedral, lamplit bridges spanning the Seine and art nouveau cafes spilling onto wicker-chair-lined terraces are indelibly etched in the minds of anyone who’s visited the city – and the imaginations of anyone who hasn’t (yet). But despite initial appearances, Paris’ cityscape isn’t static: there are some stunning modern and contemporary icons too, from the inside-out, industrial-style Centre Pompidou to the mur végétal (vertical garden) gracing the striking Musée du Quai Branly. Glorious Food Stylish Shopping Parisians are synonymous with style and fashion shopping is the city’s forte. Artistic Treasures

The Great Geek Manual » The United States’ Most Beautiful Libraries Back in July 2009, I posted a photo gallery of The World’s Most Beautiful Libraries, mainly for my own gratification. There are few things I enjoy as a hardcore bibliophile more than a good book, but when I’m not reading, browsing photos of books comes in a close second. For about eighteen months, the gallery was pretty much ignored, the same as all of my other posts, but a few days ago StumbleUpon kicked in. Since then, traffic has been flooding and with it, a lot of suggestions as to other libraries deserving of recognition. boxing training What is it about boxing training that makes a boxer one of the most physically fit athletes in the world? What allows a boxer to exert maximum amount of energy throwing hundreds of punches and still have the energy to stand? The answer is simple...they trained hard for it! A boxer must train harder and longer then their competition, they must be willing to push their bodies further then they thought possible. Throughout my website you have come a long ways you now know how to jab, cross, hook and know the basics of boxing. This section is not going to offer any videos or new radical training ideas. Step 1-Cardio, Cardio, Cardio I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a strong heart and lungs. Benjamin Franklin said it best. This is something that can easily be applied to boxing training as well as life. Step-2 Sleep/Eat this may seem like a very simple task. Step-3 Practice, practice, practice. Step-5 Take a step back and realize Rome was not built in a day.
