Cuddly Cthulhu with Free Pattern!
Welcome one and all to the 200th post at Cthulhu Crochet and Cousins. Thank you everyone for being here, especially those of you who are long time readers of the blog, and especially those of you who have taken the time to post comments or share pictures of things you've made with my patterns. I've always told myself that I'd keep the blog going as long as it was still fun (and didn't start to feel like work) Now, here we are at 200 posts, 330,486 visitors (the current count while I'm typing this) and it's still fun! I wanted to go back to the beginning and do something special for this landmark post, so I decided it was time to revisit cthulhu patterns. Don't get me wrong, I love my previous incarnations of cthulhu, but I've always wanted to try for one with a more pear shaped head. Something a bit more accurate to illustrations I've seen such as this one. Cuddly Cthulhu Pattern Materials The head directions have now been changed from Rnd 8 onwards to the end of the head. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Standard pony pattern: School-age Pony pattern also available here. *** Translations:Danish by Marianne Dutch by Marinka (via Facebook group) Spanish by Lyanne ***A while back I came across this severely awesome pattern, and wanted to give it a go. The only downside being that it was a double crochet pattern, and personally I don't like double crochet for things that have to hold stuffing. Therefore, I (after a certain amount of trial and error, adding a few bits and generally tweaking things around) have reworked it into a single crochet version. Pictures: Male nose and female nose: Earth ponies: Unicorn: Pegasus with closed wings: Pegasus with open wings: Applejack's hat: (Ponies available on Etsy by the way, and custom pony orders welcome) 2013/3/1: If you would like to make these ponies to sell, I'm happy for you to do so! 2013/3/15: Since it seems many people are ignoring my warning about how much of a pain it is to do the corded manes and tails, I've added instructions below The Pattern: Or:

Crocheted Pin Cushion Pattern - English version This pattern I'm going to share with you today came to me in a rather round about way, but I have received permission from everyone involved to share it with you here. I mentioned just recently that Terri who used to blog frequently about awesome crochet stuff found this Crocheted Pin Cushion on a website from Denmark, and the pattern is available free on Ravelry. It was written entirely in Danish, by Liselotte who shows some beautiful pictures of her finished pin cushions on her website. Terri, being the clever and creative person that she is, used the pictures to figure out how to make the pin cushion and wrote down the pattern. She has graciously given her permission to post the pattern here for you to use. Before you do, though, do yourself a favor and take a peek at Liselotte's pin cushions and at Terri's too. Amigurumi | Pattern | Tutorial I heard friends and readers asking me how to do amigurumi, including patterns, materials, tools & tips etc…. you will find all the answers in this post: How-To Amigurumi!!! Frankly speaking, just like all other crafts, to make a decent looking amigurumi is not easy but it is not hard as you thought too. You need skill, skill comes from knowledge and practice…. and to success in crafting, you need patience and the “never-give-up” attitude – do it again and again until you are satisfied with the result. Amigurumi (編みぐるみ?, lit. crocheted or knitted stuffed toy) is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. {CLICK HERE to get the introduction on How-To Amigurumi.} Pages: 1 2 Print / Download PDF

FREE PATTERN!!!!!! Before I post the pattern for my Arabella Ballerina Bear, I would like to apologize.
