24 Green Design Ideas Inspired By Nature Living in an urban environment certainly has its many advantages, but most of us city folk still pine for the great outdoors. And if weekend or vacation outings just aren’t enough, there are plenty of designers out there who have created ingenious green designs that bring tiny little pieces of nature into our homes and urban settings. Some of these are simply creative home products designed to mimic nature in clever ways, but some of them are the real deal. After all, the feel of a plastic plant can’t compare to that of a real, living and breathing one.

Naked Sea – Spencer Tunick Dead Sea Installation by Ari Fruchter For the past 20 years since I have known Spencer Tunick I have witnessed his art evolve from the streets of New York, across America and to major cities of the world. What started out as individual photographic portraits of nudes in public environments has grown to mass installations involving thousands of active participants. Through his art, Spencer has championed many important causes; from the First Amendment with the historic Court Ruling protecting his installations as art, to Global Warming (Greenpeace – Switzerland & France) and most recently Gay Rights (Sydney Australia). After touching so many people and places around the world, I have embarked on a personal mission to bring Spencer Tunick to Israel. The installation will take place at the Dead Sea - the lowest place on earth and one of the most naturally picturesque spots on our planet. It is a body of water that unites 3 different people – Israelis, Jordanians, and Palestinians.

Skullcandy Headphones & Earphones This Artist's Stunning Stone Sculptures Will Throw You For A Loop. I Had To Look Twice At All Of These. Ito finds many of these rocks in a riverbed near his neighborhood. Most people regard rocks as being hard, un-malleable objects. Ito hopes to convey their warmth and humor through his work. He makes detailed modifications to the stone's surface.

Public art for kids The genesis of these structures is Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam’s explorations as a textile artist and researcher dating back to the 1970s. The first public project, however, was for a national park in southern Japan in 1979. This was followed by a commission from an art museum in Japan for a sculpture children could not just look at but touch, play with and experience through all the senses

urban cake lady I think people forget that, artists that do paste ups, most of the time paint them themselves. There are a ton out there that design and print it all on computer, but the best ones are usually those who can paint them too, take this one by Urban Cake Lady for example. Prahran A great Urban Cake Lady paste up here in Fitzroy, this is a pretty unique piece as it blends a real image with her iconic Little Red Riding Hood character. Another great paste up from Urban Cake Lady here, it’s getting to the point where I wonder what she looks like underneath that coat. Is she hidng from us?

Together with sexual well-being brand, Smile Makers, Alberti presented female sexuality like it's never been done. Alberti captured the facial expressions of more than 20 women before, during, and after their sexual journey, while using personal massagers. The four photos unveil the slow or, in some cases, rapid progression of each woman’s facial changes as she reaches and recovers from orgasm. The headshots are fun and sexy, but tasteful, keeping everything below the waist hidden from view – even from the photographer.
