Digitprop – Papercraft and Stuff A papercraft alphabet – 26 fine templates to print out, fold and glue into letters. Each one represents a thing (or animal, or people) starting with that letter. This alphabet can be a nice and playful learning resource for kids – the younger ones will need some help in assembling the models. In addition to being nice little toys (my son has instantly fallen in love with the letter A – or astronaut), you can write all kinds of nice messages with them, such as ‘I love you’ or ‘Please pay the rent ASAP’… Works in English as well as in German (and, at least to some extend, probably in some other languages as well). Here are the first three letters: A as in Astronaut, B as in Beaver, and C as in Chameleon:

Project Life Freebies freebie friday :: paper lunch sack printables » kensie kate. I always take these & put them on my photos. We really liked the pouf from Christien Meinderstsma, but it´s way out of our price range. This simple pattern for a knitted stool has much thinner yarn, but the budget is just as thin;) Nice to rest your legs on, and very popular for the kids. What we used:Eskimo, 18 balls (Or yarn suitable for US #13 needles)Acrylic yarn would probably be a really good alternative, as it´s a piece of furnitureUS #19 circular needles2 cheap duves (feather and down) How we did it:Cast on 35 stitches using three threads.Knit the garter stitch until you´ve knitted all the balls, and there is just enough yarn left to asseble the stool. You now have ONE rectangular piece.Cast off loosely.

HOW TO: Look sharp for the summer Have you noticed that when it comes to paper folding, we mean serious business? See below. Yes, that is a bowtie made entirely out of paper! Also, just because summer is coming, it doesn't mean that you can't look totally dapper. Check out how it's made!

Amplifier Dock The material count and skill level necessary to make this project are both pretty low. That being said...you will need access to a pretty decent wood shop. Okay, here's exactly what you'll need: Materials • Ceramic cereal bowl about 6.25" diameter and 2.5" height • 2 10-32 thread 1" length flat head phillips machine screws • 2 10-32 thread wood tee nuts • A small piece of 1/8" thick wool felt, at least 2.5" sq • A block of hardwood you can cut down to 16" x 2.3" x 3/8" • A $.10 dime (totally serious) Machine tools vintage book travel-tech organizer As you may have figured out from my My Life Scoop posts, I’m a bit of a nut for tech accessories, especially pocket-sized ones. I can’t get over how awesomely small our entertainment devices are becoming; it makes traveling with them so much easier. But one issue I keep running into is how to neatly organize everything, especially the power cords and connector cables that accompany my favorite devices.

Boxed geometric heart I really liked the 3D hearts in the gift-wrap I showed previously so I’ve been making paper versions! They make a nice alternative to a card. You can even make one every color of the rainbow. There is a little box which you can make to put the hearts in (each box fits two hearts). Templates for the box and the hearts are at the foot of the post. Cassette Tape MP3 Player I've been trying for some time to come up with a mod for the cassette tape. Initially I thought it would be cool if I could stick a voice recorder into one of those tiny cassette tapes that used to be used in message machines (trying to ironic!) but it was way too small.
