Crochet Butterflies

Crochet Butterflies
My schedule has been too hectic to finish any real projects lately, so I've been getting my crochet fix by whipping up these tiny little butterflies in every color. The trick? Use embroidery floss. It comes in every shade imaginable, it's the perfect thickness for little accessories, and it's cheap. They're perfect for cards, scrapbook pages, hair clips, they'd even be cute on the front of a baby onesie or beanie. Below are my original patterns for how to crochet a butterfly. To create the abdomen and antennae, cut a coordinating piece of thread or yarn about four to six inches long (depending on your butterfly's size). Butterfly Pillow Pattern tutorial conillet de pasqua Nibble nibble, hop hop Posted on Updated on If you are a regular follower you will immediately notice that these bunnies are very closely related to some particularly cute owls made recently. You see a distant aunt on their mother’s side fell in love with a completely unsuitable (if you are an owl) rabbit… the rest, so they say, is history.

Bougainvillea Doily Pattern This is a little adaptation of a DESIGN I did a while back - I was going to scrap the pattern altogether as it just was not working for me - but then inspiration struck. I changed a few rows, made it a bit smaller and VOILA!! Although I used DK cottons for all the doilies the different brands differ quite a bit in thickness - so adjust your hook size to suit your yarn. Easy Crochet Owl Tutorial Hello Lovelies, Wooo Hooo , or should that be To-Whit to Wooo Hooo :0) It's a Happy Happy tutorial day! I simply LOVE these cute fellas and as you can see I've got rather carried away making them in lots of different colours. They are very easy to make and so jolly . I've seen a few similar cute crochet owls out there in blogland and on Etsy but they looked quite complicated to me. So for my version I've tried to keep things as simple as possible. Hopefully you lovelies will easily be able to enjoy making a colourful crochet Owl.......and who could resist :0)

Owl Trivet Pattern I have been messing around with the font style and size on my blog and for some unknown reason extra line spaces have started inserting themselves. No matter what I do I just cannot seem to get rid of them. So please excuse the weird spacing - I am trying to figure it out! Blogger does seem to be misbehaving today - wrongs dates and all sorts of funnies!!
