Welcome to freshmeat.net | freshmeat.net Arreglando Plymouth en Ubuntu 12.10 Desde que Ubuntu se cambio a Plymouth como gestor de animación de arranque he visto el problema se que la animación empieza realmente tarde, lo cual a me parecer da un sensación de lentitud (si no fuera por la pequeña barra parpadeante arriba a la izquierda podría hasta decir que el Sistema no pasa mas allá del Grub), esta ya apunto de cargar el escritorio y ahi es que empieza la animación y solo dura un segundo, es algo estupido, pero es incomodo de todos modos. La solucion es muy sencilla, solo es cuestion de abrir la terminal (aunque no soy muy amigo de ella y la veo bastante arcaica y estupida hoy en dia con lo poderosas que son las interfaces) y escribir: sudo apt-get install v86d echo FRAMEBUFFER=y | sudo tee /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/splash sudo update-grub2 sudo update-initramfs -u Y listo, a disfrutar Plymouth por 15 segundos mas y 10 si tienen un SSD El contenido del post es de mi autoría, y/o, es un recopilación de distintas fuentes.

It turns out it was the sound card module (snd_hda_intel) that was causing it. The snd_hda_intel has an option, "beep_mode", that grabs the system beep when it loads, overriding pcspkr. Code: Select all # modinfo snd_hda_intel | grep beepparm: beep_mode:Select HDA Beep registration mode (0=off, 1=on, 2=mute switch on/off) (default=1). To disable the system beep: # echo "options snd_hda_intel beep_mode=0" >> /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf# echo "blacklist pcspkr" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf That should get rid of the annoying beep you get when gdm3 loads and in the console.

There’s a heavy emphasis on typography within Scribus; it’s very strong on printers’ marks, offering several choices of quotes, standard ligatures and gliffs. Observatorio de software educativo libre Una distribución adecuada Un aspecto debe resolverse antes de empezar a hablar de aplicaciones especialmente educativas: para que una distribución lo sea es prioritario que dé respuesta a las necesidades de todo el alumnado y que preste atención a su diversidad. Esta tarea debe plantearse en dos niveles: Atendiendo a la de nuestros alumnos actuales. Es necesario que la distribución esté correctamente internacionalizada y localizada no sólo para el castellano, sino para las lenguas maternas de nuestros alumnos. El tema lo he tratado en dos artículos publicados en la revista . Atendiendo a la que todos tenemos: la distribución debe estar al día en todos los adelantos de tecnología asistiva disponibles en software libre, y debe estar preconfigurada para que mediante la sola selección de un perfil se activen los mecanismos de apoyo necesarios para que cada usuario pueda interactuar con el ordenador y los demás usuarios de la forma más fácil y adecuada.
