Holy Island - Welcome to Holy Isle Ile Saint Honorat - Découvrez l'Ile Saint Honorat, située au large de la baie de Cannes L'Ile Saint Honorat est située au large de la baie de Cannes. l'Ile Saint Honorat est, depuis 16 siècles, un lieu de vie monastique. L'Ile Saint Honorat est séparée de l'Ile Sainte Marguerite par un chenal d'environ 500 m de large, le "plateau du milieu" ou "Frioul". Sa superficie est de 40 ha. L'Ile Sainte Marguerite est la plus grande des deux îles. Elle s'étend sur 210 hectares, dont 170 ha de forêt, à 700 m de la pointe de la Croisette. Les Iles de Lérins constituent une même réalité biologique. En surface, la roche est recouverte d'un limon argileux rouge.
