Pulled Pork Recipe This has got to be the easiest pulled pork recipe ever. Honestly, it’s no fuss, no muss, it’s almost not even a recipe at all. I wasn’t really a big fan of pulled pork until I tasted this one. It’s pillowy soft and melts in your mouth like delicious pork cotton candy. Most of the pulled porks I’ve tried are drenched in sauce, which, while good, kind of masks the flavour of the pork. This pulled pork recipe uses only sugar and salt, so the end result is a touch salty, a tiny bit sweet and oh-so-porky. Oven Baked Parmesan Seasoned Fries These fries ROCK plain and simple. Funny how one would still call them "fries" when really they are not "fried" in anything. Nope, these fries are too sophisticated for greasy oil, and much like a skinny swim suit model they prefer to be lightly oiled, slightly accentuated by a few minor spices and baked lying on a cookie sheet basking in the golden glow of the oven, BUT the one thing that sets these fries apart from the skinny swim suit model is that you can actually LOVE them instead of secretly hating them :) When we were still in PA, my neighbors RAVED over them and I mean RAVED! They could smell the wonderful aroma coming from the windows in the spring and would say "Oh my gosh" someone is cooking something that smells delicious!

Secret Ingredient No-Fail Pie Crust Confession: I don’t like to think of myself as a snob about a lot of things but when it comes to pie crust my nose is flying high. No shame. Is it such a sin to want a flaky, tender, buttery crust on the pies I stuff my face with? I don’t think so. Balsamic and Onion Pot roast Whenever we get a beef we go through the meat in a certain order, steaks are gone first, followed by the burger and stew meat, and lastly we always have roasts. It isn't that we don't like a good roast, but rather that I don't have a lot of experience producing a roast that is moist and juicy and flavorful. I don't want to waste a good cut of meat on experimenting, so I usually wait until there are no other choices left and then make the roasts. When this happened recently, I turned to Pinterest for inspiration.

Mothering with Creativity: DIY: Homemade Cheez-Its I have been wanting to make homemade Cheez-Its for quite some time now. Every Sunday evening, I prepare a weeks-worth of snacks for my family. Since I prefer not to buy any processed snacks, this is the time each week when I make all of our homemade snacks (in addition to bagging up pre-cut veggies and such). I make a batch of granola bars every week. I also now add in flax meal and nutritional yeast to help with milk production, and to add more "health" to them, as well (my girls LOVE these). This week, I also made a batch of graham crackers, and then I tried (for the first time) the Cheez-Its.

Sweet Shredded Pork Tacos with Cilantro Chili Lime Ranch I really love Mexican food. Well, let me re-phrase that, I love anything that resembles Mexican food. OK, I love anything that goes in a tortilla even if it isn't Mexican. The tortilla is really the perfect carb for just about anything. These pork tacos are no exception! I have been eyeing this recipe for close to two years over at A Thrifty Mom.

No-Bake Fruity Cereal Treat Cupfakes I’m deep in the trenches: sprinkles flying at my face, frosting smeared up to my elbows, dried batter caked on every surface. No, I’m not on the set of Cupcake Wars (though producers should feel free to contact me; I’ll bring my A-game). I’m in the middle of Cupcake Capers. naked cupfakes! Cupcake Capers is a 5-day camp where I teach campers to bake, fill, and frost cupcakes.

Spicy Sausage Pasta My absolute favorite dinners are the easy weeknight kind. The kind that can be whipped up in thirty minutes or less from start to finish and only mess up one dish. And of course, they need to knock-my-socks-off with flavor as well! I am so in love with this spicy, creamy, cheesy pasta for all of those reasons. It is just packed with so many incredible flavors. Bacon and Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms : Mountain Mama Cooks These little beauties are my most requested appetizer. From clients to family gatherings, I am asked to make these stuffed mushrooms a lot. I don’t really mind though because these one bite appetizers are absolutely delicious.

This is an excellent recipe becuase it comes out exactly the way it is supposed to. Even with the rough meat we get here in Antigua. Very fast too, great fro week nights for when you have to cook a meal quickly for an occasion. by susanathill Feb 27
