Are You Ready to Build a Website?

Page Navigation for Visitor Friendly Sites and Stickiness
In the small image, and again in this larger one, you see tabbed type buttons at the TOP of the page for navigation. This is not a feature on most wordpress blog themes. You must look for it. Some, as is shown in the image, also allow dropdown of child pages for sub-page navigation. In other words, you might have a main page called "About Us" with child pages for contact info, individual agents, etc. I'll show you redirecting of pages later, but for now, make your decision about whether to have page navigation at the top. Once you've started using the theme, any PAGE (not post) that you create will automatically be placed as a button, tab or word link in this top navigation. There is another way to use the top page navigation to get your visitor to content by subject matter or topic category using page redirects, as mentioned before. Page headers and "above the fold" importance. Far from an afterthought, this bit of advice is quite important in my opinion.
