Upcycling (3): broeksriem | Fietsbult 24 augustus 2012 De Gentse Feesten zijn ondertussen alweer eventjes voorbij, en de rust is weer over de stad neergedaald. Op sommige plekken in de stad kon je ook tijdens de feesten nog wat rust vinden. Dit was ook het geval op DOK Gent. Daar kon je de laatste dagen van de Gentse Feesten ook terecht bij de Fietskeuken, waar we het vroeger al eens over hadden. Van hen kreeg ik een half versleten buitenband uit hun voorraad recuperatiemateriaal, en even later was die band omgetoverd in dit: Nog 2 stukjes binnenband als finishing touch. Een dag nadien werd de broeksriem nog eens uitgetest door iemand met een beter figuur: 21/07/2012, DOK Gent En een paar weken later wou mijn nichtje er eentje voor haar verjaardag:
