How to make a heart shaped egg

How to make a heart shaped egg
In my previous post, I did a how to make cube shaped & pyramid shaped hard boiled eggs. (see “how to mold a hard boiled egg”)It was a lot of fun making the molds, but some of you must be thinking “Yeah, but that’s a lot of work to make a mold for a hard boiled egg…” and I completely agree. I’m just a nut. So I’ll show you a very easy & popular method to mold a hard boiled egg in Japan. [How to make a <3 shaped hard boiled egg] - Egg - Milk carton or any juice carton (cut open, washed well and dried) - Chopstick (round one is ideal) - Rubber bands Step 1: Cut milk carton and fold it in half lengthwise. This is all you need. Step 2: Make a hard boiled egg. Step 3: While the egg is still warm, peel the egg and put the egg on the milk carton, place a chopstick on the center of the egg, and put rubber bands on the both ends. If you don’t have a round chopstick maybe you can put a skewer inside a straw and use it. Make sure the egg is freshly boiled and warm. It’s cute as is. Tagged as: eggs

Here is a DIY guide on how to tie a draped skirt.

How to make a sunflower This is something you can make with an egg sheet. (see “how to make an egg sheet”) It’s cute and very easy too! [How to make a sunflower] - egg sheet (see “how to make an egg sheet” ) - mini-sausage 1. Cut a mini-sausage in half. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. You can make a flower with long pedal or short pedal, depending on where you pin the egg sheet. You can, of course, put anything you want for the center of the flower. You can make a single-layered flower with left over egg sheet. If you don't have enough egg, you can just roll the egg sheet... ...and make a flower without the center part! You can make so many things with the egg sheet! Have fun bento-ing! You can also check out more “how to” on my blog and my flickr page. Tagged as: eggs, flowers, sausage

A ModernTake on the Doily - $850 Lamp for less than $50 A Modern Take on the Doily $850 Lamp for less than $50? Yes Please! Hello Pretty people! We are so excited to share a project we did this past weekend. To get started, you are going to need a few things to make this project successful. corn starchballoon (we used a 40” blown up until completely round, as pictured)upholstery thread (but any thread will do)twinedrop clothschool gluecheap paintbrushpetroleum jellylamp kit24+ doiliesstiff stuff We sewed the doilies around the balloon with the upholstery thread, very carefully. Make sure to create a space to place your bulb socket. Once you have sewn about ¾ of your balloon, stop and do the last ¼ separately. Lay down your tarp and hang your balloon from some twine above the tarp. Rub the balloon down with the petroleum jelly. When you are complete, let your doilies dry for about 24 hours, the pop the balloon! It should look something like the image above! I am Lana. Like this: Like Loading...

Natuurlijke in luchtdicht trommeltje/bakje bewaren.

Coffee Filter Trees | The Little Brown House. Tweet! Welcome to The Little Brown House! I promised in my Christmas Mantle post that I would do a tutorial of the Coffee Filter trees I featured, and here it is. My first Coffee Filter project was last spring, when I made my Brown Coffee Filter Wreath I was amazed at how easy they were to work with And how pretty they ended up looking! Since that time I have been looking out for another project to do with the filters. A few weeks ago The Nester did a post about the wreaths, and she mentioned mine. (Bashful grin) Nesting Place She also did a tutorial on some coffee filter trees, and I decided I had to try them! I purchased two styrofoam cones from Michaels at $6.99 each. What on earth are they making styrofoam out of these days? It seemed kind of pricy to me! I should mention- I was working on my mantle at the same time so the table is a bit of a mess – I should have cleaned up for the pictures but as usual, I was impatient! The Nester used a glue gun to make hers, but I decided to go with straight pins

Monochromatic Designs: How to Pull it Off Have you ever watched a home improvement program on television and, instead of feeling inspired, felt even more out of touch? When it comes to home décor and design, implementing new techniques can seem terrifying. An arrangement, piece of wall art or color palette that looks ravishing in a trendy television home can sometimes look like an out-of-place mess when added to your current home design. This is why, when first entering into the world of décor, it’s best to take baby steps. When people hear the word “monochromatic,” they instantly act repulsed, conjuring up images of a Willy Wonka style fun house in which the chairs and sofas blend in with the walls. One thing to remember about a monochromatic color scheme is that it doesn’t have to be the exact same shade repeated over and over throughout the room. As you decorate with your monochromatic scheme, you may notice that certain areas could benefit from a contrasting color.
